You went about this a bit wrong take a mini screw driver ones that tighten up reading glasses are the best. Then open it from the bottom (key ring end) gently work it and it starts to open with no damage at all. It pops right open.
Dl 2032 is a duracell, CR2032 is others. Once you start opening case maybe use a Smaller thinner wider screw driver to open case. Make sure you glimpse for the + and - so battery goes in correctly. He says + towards buttons. Don't know why, but another youtuber said he had to pair the keyfab?? Thanks Wally.

When did you get your system? You know they have a 3-year warranty and can just call them and ask for a new one.
