- It's time for another book review. I'm trying out a slightly new structured way of reviewing books. I think it works a bit better than my incoherent rambles.

I just finished reading this book I loved it ! Also really like your glasses and your accent
Thank you for such a lovely comment!
I enjoyed the book but I didn't like the ending!! What did you think of it?
I kind of liked the ending. The original ending that is. The extra chapter, epilogue bit that appears in the Waterstones version (I don't know if it's any other edition), I could live without.
The more I think about it, the more it really works for me. She was arrogant enough to over look possibility of more siblings which was a mistake. And a man coming in and reaping the rewards of a woman's hard work - let's face it, frustrating but so realistic.
I was really curious about How To Kill Your Family! lol and I know what you mean, I love a murderous woman, so I totally would have still been sympathizing with her.
After listening to your review, I'm still a little conflicted, b/c I have a lot of books that I REALLY want to read before end of year. But maybe I'll pick this one up!
A year on, and I would still recommend it. I've lent it to a few people now, and they've all enjoyed it. If you do pick it up you'll have to come back and let me know how you got on with it.
@@amysrambles6748 oooh ok interesting! It may be a 2024 read for me!
Never read it but now I kinda want to
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did if you do read it 🙂
I take it you've watched the 1949 film kind heart's and coronets. Seeing as this book is almost exactly the same storyline
SPOILERS...
Just finished the book, and I'm still trying to figure out the 6 people she actually killed. SPOILERS 1 and 2. Grandparents (via car crash) 3. Cousin (frogs) 4. Uncle (sex dungeon) 5. Step mother (sauna) I was under the impression that Bryony did not die at the hands of Grace - or have I missed something?
I don't have my copy on hand (have lent it to a friend) so can't say with 100% certainty, but I think Bryony was with the tampered moisturiser.
@@amysrambles6748 yes I thought that and went back to confirm but it's not written explicitly what the cause of death is - guess it's implied.
I guess it suites Graces arrogance that she would take credit for it either way.
Question (spoilers for anyone else here)
Were you satisfied the book ended the way it did with the email and then the letter, or would you have wanted to read something about Grace's reaction?
