I went from a single cam civic, to a 9th gen civic si and now a 23’ Charger R/T. Definitely an upgrade for me and way faster than the civics 😂.

Had my RT since 2019. Only been gapped by Scats and hell cats. Regular cars tried me and got embarrassed. Rt are fast 💨. Just not scat and hellcat fast.

It's weird despite just having your mid muffler and resonator done your RT seems way faster when getting sideways etc. Must be the driver 🔥😈
It's both the driver and the car.
More so the driver. Removing all that back pressure causes the low rpm revs to drop by you will gain high rpm torque
Bruh idk why everyone is saying it’s slow. It’s all perspective. Driving around running your errands living life on regular streets it’s not slow.
Going to the drag strip and racing actual people that build their cars yea slow.
Roll racing other stock cars to some slow to others not.
Now when we talk quick; for what the car is it’s pretty quick for it’s size. On the street you can get some scats off the line and possibly win because let’s be honest most nighas not spending that bread to put the actual tires that’s supposed to be on the scats and hellcats. Rt doesn’t have the spinning problem like the bigger trims.
And let’s face it; in real life these weirdos are not coming up to you at the gas station calling your shit slow. It’s just in this fake UA-cam world they have all the shit to talk. Keep grinding bro; nice car.

well said. RTs are awesome daily drivers and you can really catch Scats lacking from a stoplight race if you got proper tires on, allows you to put all the power down without holding back.
I got a GT 2019 White Knuckle, black top package. Car is so comfortable man thinking og going up to a Scat but they’re so expensive think I might just stick with the V6, I’d avoid alot of headaches that come with owning a very popular V8
I want an RT also. The scat pack you gotta use premium gas at all times and it does get less fuel mileage

Why does dodge tune the RT Down. The way it drops out of power range. Get a tune. It will get you under 5 seconds.

I heard adding bigger pipes and a bigger throttle body will add more power on rts than any other trim. The 5.7 is the base for the other 3 hemis

Hey man, I have a challenger 5.7 RT I had headers single-chamber Mufflers a custom tone wrote on it and jlt intake my 0 to 60 4.7 seconds. And I give scat packs that can't grip fits off the line they have to catch me I can hang pretty close to him at the track my best was a 12.95 at 110 miles an hour. So yeah you hop it up you'll have a decent car for the street

I got a 2017 Daytona rt it got performances pages and it’s enough for me cause I don’t want too expensive insurance and cool with plus gas premium too expensive

Fun fact: You don't have to hit OK to start the 0-60 timer. Have the timer up at a complete stop and it'll start the countdown on its own when you go.
question if you go catless, but tune it does it still throw a engine light? or can the tune get rid of that

@@danielrichter945 oh I have a v6 mustang I wouldn’t dare go catless thing would sound like a fart. I was just curious because I know when you take off the cats the engine light comes on, but is there a way to be catless with no engine light?
@SuperLarsen01 yes there's a way to remove the check engine light you will need to talk to your tuner lol they can technically remove the light by turning off the o2 monitoring system although be careful because this is also illegal. Makes the charger RT sound dope as hell though with long tube headers, cat delete, mid muffler delete and rear muffler delete. IT WILL BE INSANELY LOUD

Just bought my wife a 23 Charger RT BlackTop edition. Its a very big, heavy comfortable car. Reminiscient of the late 80s and 90s. And its one of the few remaining 4 door, v8 rear wheel drive sedans. They used to be plentiful in my youth. Thats why i bought it. Its not nearly as fast as my '18 mustang GT. Its fast tho but i wouldnt be out there looking to race with it. Its not really its forte. Both cars get about the same mpg which can be ridiculously good on the hwy. And avg in the city. Id rather have the Charger for long trips as its more comfortable and spacious. My grown ass teenagers cant fit in to the little space in the back of the stang
I have the 22 RT it’s faster than the average car on the road but the scat will blow the mustang gt, I had a 09 stang also it’s not heavy & to lite,charger feels more better.
@@YoungjulesTV the scat and the '18 and up 5.0s are pretty close on all official stats and that plays out IRL pretty similarly. In person the Scat pulls harder off the line but the 5.0 with the 10 spd pulls harder up top. Conclusion? Roll the dice

I got the DAYTONA RT and I think it is enought for I was looking for. I just sold my Camaro convertible 2023 for it. I am not sure about the ZTazer (airbag light on) Do you have problem with it?

I’ve had a tazer for months and haven’t hooked it up to my 2018 R/T because of the airbag light. It would drive me insane I keep hoping they can find a way to not have it on through updates but so far not yet.

I am catless with headers on my 5.7 and it is ridiculously loud. sounds great. However I cannot stress it enough that you need to get a muffler setup of some sort is you are doing catless header setup. If there's cops within a quarter mile they will hear your car when you step on it and it's very loud at idle. get. a . set. of. mufflers.

i just bought a 2022 dodge challenger RT. its a stick shift. this modrl didnt come with performance pages. i'm not sure if dodge did that to all the stick shift models but i havent seen any on line yet.
Yeah I got the tazer for it and I had them then but they just disappeared on me I have the SRT mode still just not the performance pages
yea, i don't think i'll mess with any of that. haha. i'm too scared i'll void warranty. and i had a bad experience with these devices.. i had a sprint booster on my Mercedes and I think it fucked up my throttle and triggered all types of issues. lmao@@RT937Will

I’m pretty sure you upgrade it to a new unit. My brother has a 2018 R/T and his old screen had one if the layers peeling and it kept glitching out on him and the shop we go to replaced it with a brand new unit with Apple CarPlay. Needless to say we were stoked when we picked his car up.

@@pyro2957 I would say so. He hadn't had any other problems with it and my mother has the previous gen 2014 Charger R/T and it's just fine too. IMO the 2011/14 Chargers look the best. And that was the last gen that you can get a V8 AWD without having to buy one from a police auction.

If u Compare it to SXT, SE? Not really. All it has is the sound which makes it feel fast but it ain’t really. I’ve had all three and there’s barely a difference from v6 to baby v8. Still love my rt tho🤣

Man I had a scatpack and it felt slow, so I know the RT is dog shit slow. Went BMW and never looking back.
Not gonna lie Sometimes it does feel like a plane. It’s like you’re going really fast and passing everyone but you don’t feel it

Stock RT is slow. 335hp to the wheel can barely beat a honda.
Once u go FBO then youll be at 435hp like a scat and can actually do some damage on the road
But mod for mod... the rt is the way to go. The scat comes maxed out. Next step is fbo for the scat. For the rt... it's a bit different.
