Hi Jane and Kevin. We really enjoyed your very informative video on the Fleetwood work that is now complete. Looking at Cleveleys there looks to be quite a bit of work to do there but I’m sure it’s going to be worth it in the end. Although there does look to be a lot of rocks as one looks northwards.
Thank you Jane and Kevin for finally reviewing Fleetwood coastal beach works. Although they were supposed to install ramps to over the rock groins, the concrete access ramps are only located at one, possibly two groins, but we were informed by a supervisor that they would all be accessible with concrete ramps. This doesn’t appear to be the case. I wonder if you could possibly find out more information on this?
Hi, I'd asked the same question of the project manager last week and he assures me that there are concrete ramps at each one, but they are all buried under the beach.
Thank you Jane and Kevin for the very interesting video. On a clear day when the Lake District mountains are in view the views would be fantastic. I must go to that lovely watch tower, lucky for me it doesn't seem to be too far from the Mount. But what I would love to do, is walk from the Vinue Cleveleys to Fleetwood on a clear day, when I can see the mountains. How long is the walk please? And roughly how long would it take for an unfit person?
It's quite a long way from Cleveleys to Fleetwood via the seafront - something like about 4 or 5 miles. So it would take you the best part of an afternoon. I don't think I'd recommend it if you aren't fit. Why don't you do bitesize chunks of it at a time?
Splendid video! Suggestion ... Why not hire a golf cart in the summertime and style it "The Rabbit Rambler". An exploration from Fleetwood to Lytham and return with VFC rabbits with banter and commentary, humourous observations and fish and chips tasting en route ... Jus' sayin'. ...... :-)
