I haven't listened to Dear old Dads, but I love Eli and Tom I listen to just about everything in their catalogs.

It's a setting that Mark had turned on but Bob and Wade hadn't. Idk why Mark saw a block as resembling Wade's character though.
It is for colorblind mode. It puts numbered(1-8) construction hats on the cats and their blocks.
