Vinny's Chad opinion of master mode, you literally can't do anything other than whack them with strong melee weapons until they die because the Regen is so strong and quick to kick in. Roll a boulder onto them? They've already regenerated all their health by the time you catch up to the boulder. Throw an explosive barrel? The ragdoll flies backwards and they've regenned by the time you run towards where they were launch. Knock them off a ledge? Regenned to full health. Get a guardian to blow them up? Regenned. Shield spin into them? Regenned before you stand back up. Done like 90% damage to a guardian scout and you run to cover while they shoot you with lasers? Regenned. Shield bash? Regenned. Headshot? Regenned before they get up. Like holy shit, It literally ruins the fun of combat. I'm CONVINCED no one at Nintendo play rested that shit otherwise they'd realise how unfun it is. Remove the Regen and it would be a great mode. You'd run out of weapons early game if you only relied on whacking at them so you'd be forced to be creative.
I loved this game when it first came out, I've tried to re-playing it but I can never get into like the first time. After 200+ hours I suppose I'm just done with it.
Durability in breath of the wild needs to work how it does in dark souls. Different weapons have different durability's, and you can repair them. They also don't shatter when completely broken, they just do A LOT less damage. They also don't degrade as fast as they do in breath of the wild. If I didn't know any better i'd think the weapons in breath of the wild were made from paper mache

Wtf master mode is fun as hell. Keeps you on your toes and you have to work hard as hell to beat the enemies and strategize. It's extremely fun.
It's fun until you fight a bunch of enemies at once but you either have to spam urbosa or kill them one by one so they don't regen after 3 seconds.
