12:23 He was speaking real poetry with as much passion as the average ffa pvp player after losing the totally fair 1v1 Now I'm hoping that arena net watches this video and brings out the new inquest map for push, alongside a finished and polished version of what we currently have. Asking for two pvp maps may be a bit much, but it's the most love that we can get.
What we currently have is the "litterally everything is a placeholder" so there's bigh chance we won't see this snpwy plains untill they decide to make another experimental gamemode with uninspired name, and a lot of shortcomings to fix.
Maybe they can have some spots tucked in the immediate environment you can stand on to assist the push point. It would favor range players attacking on the main point every few meters, but if you get caught in there by melee you could end up alone and vulnerable. Maybe add some objectives that can freeze the push point in your favor and give your team points.
Perfect take on the topic. I also agree with everything you said. I know they created this for new players to learn to stand on node in conquest, but I still hope they create a 5 vs 5 team death match with respawns on a map with much more obstacles one day. I'd love this kind of game mode.
In terms of map, I think Cantha would be the most likely, where each team is trying to either steal the objective for the Brotherhood or protect it for Xunlai respectively. While I like the maps you've suggested, I'm very doubtful that Anet want multiple Asura (skyhammer) or Old Lions Arch (capricorn) themed pvp maps.
When it works, it works, unfortunately when it doesn't... (which happens at the bracket where newcomers are initially dropped significantly too often) ...its a 10 min of back-to-back quit moments.
Rallying everyone in PvP isn't borderline stupid. *It's completely idiotic.* single rallys in even WvW team fights are already enormously important/swing-heavy. Maybe that's a hot take. But here's a little more agreeable one: I really like Push' especially w/ ANet "just trying stuff" before they dump a ton of $ into it. But until they fix or at least take a hard-stance-on *The other meta-game problems that Plague regular PvP e.g. :* Coordinating Win Trading, Hiding your rating, Abusing ANet's generous support to Account name change+Selling placements on alt accounts, etc. People will still attrition from said game, no matter how good it is. -- Just look at the 4 top-spots that "magically appeared on the US charts with ~1900 rating and 10 losses exactly each last-minute." I stole this sentiment from the forums but I 100% agree. *No one wants to "Play the Bullshit" They want to "Play the game."* I have no idea why people don't talk about this more. 😂

Jade golem assembly could enable the same gameplay as either of my proposed settings.
I'd be satysfied.
I thought push was fun, it's the only pvp mode where you can win or lose in about 1 minute, pretty cool.

@@captaincrapface7337 It would be more fun if they lowered the time limit to 5 minutes and got rid of over time.
@@EllieUndomesticated not like the overtime does anything, tbh.
It only works if the point is pushed uncontested.
I agree with everything you're saying here. But lets be real. This is spvp. You're lucky to get a new game mode at all.
This mode will be 100% dead like deathmach once was

I dont think its a hot take. killing a player should have enough impact. Rallying a whole team makes no sense...
