And always, huge thanks to everyone at GroupDIY.com for helping me learn so much about how mics actually work. And major kudos to OneRoomStudio for bringing this project and this circuit variant to the site.
Here's where to order that 3u Audio GZT-87 Transformer:

i really love your contents. i'm gonna build it as soon as possible. decent sounding microphone.
It’s a fun and really cool project. Make sure you check out the thread on GroupDIY for the most up to date info.
sounds good to me.
Thanks!
Just got back from your MT-48 effects video! Absolutely brilliant! Now I’m considering building this mic because why the hell not (I have a Warm Audio WA87R2 lol).
Thank you! Have fun! The GroupDiY thread is a great way to get your questions answered, too.
hello. do you consider that this sounds better then baifeili v5?. is it darker?
Brighter than the v5. In general, I prefer u87 style mics on my voice overall.
I love and hate your channel. You are making me do things.
You left this same comment on my Only Fans.
@@MarkYoshimotoNemcoff Hi, I'm Pete. Meet my brother, repeat.
@@MarkYoshimotoNemcoff This is how dense I am. I FORGOT WHAT ONLY FANS WAS! Ok, NOW THAT'S FUNNY! (oops, I'm yelling)
@@wtulin1970 Oh, you "forgot" what OnlyFans was... Sure, sure...OK, we can go with that, Mr. Big Tipper. 😉Your secret is safe with me. I promise I won't tell anyone or post it anywh.... oh crap, sorry.
@@MarkYoshimotoNemcoff Nice job. Now I have to get a divorce.
That mic has a nice warm freindly sound and the ability to sculpt the sound you want from it is really intriguing. Thanks for signal boosting this project. I’d be curious how it stands up to the Fuchs mic you built to your ears?
Glad you like it! It's not quite ready for prime time yet, but as it evolves, I would love to see it get to a level comparable to the Fuchs.
