I suggest grabbing the hydraulic disc brakes & get one of the bigger batteries if you can. At least the 24ah. You can tune it higher. Let me know if you have ?s. Got ya man.💯🍻
Just a suggestion, I would spin the battery 180 degrees so the harness is in the back. It will be better protected from any rocks/debris kicking up or something catching on it if you ever ride in the woods etc.

Just turned 15 so i had money and was planing to sell my bike and go for a cheap amazon 3000w 72v build on an mx650 but i preferred the rsf650 cause i only street ride. But after looking at facebook marketplace i found a rsf650 with the older version of this kit with the 48v battery and got it for $690 and plan to sell the bike still to get a 72v e&c battery for it

Yeah, you need a 48v or 76v lithium battery also.

Hey, if I buy this kit without the battery will the motorcycle still be faster and will be able to drive longer? If so, would you be able to tell me how much faster and how much longer it can go (if you know). Also, the way you did this video step by step was very good and will be very helpful when I buy and install this kit! :)
You’re going to need a 48v or 72v battery to go with the kit. But yes it will be way faster. Appreciate it💯🍻
Hey how fast would i go with this same kit and a 72v 40ah 100bms with a 14t sprocket and factory rear sprocket on mx650?
If I had to guess, I’d say around 40-45mph.💯🍻
The battery leads that come on the controller are xt90 and and my battery came with the same one but smaller it is a xt60 adapter, can I just buy a new battery lead that is xt60 and put it on my controller ? It says the wires can handle up too 300 volts?

Yeah. You can get a xt90 to xt60 adapter or just buy new leads w/ xt60.

Thanks for the video. It does look simple. No programming of the controller or anything. The motor is a direct drop in? No modifying the swing arm to fit it? Will the 72v battery also just bolt in?
Very simple. No programming. Motor is direct drop in. I suggest putting motor sprocket on first, then setting the chain on sprocket, then lifting motor up and in place. No modifying the rear swing at all. I have seen some loosen or remove the rear shock to disengage rear swing to make putting motor in easier but not needed. My battery came with xt60 instead of xt90 and I got new controller leads which are xt60 but it says it can handle 300 volts but on the ones I bought it says 80 C and the leads that came with my controller are 200 C should I buy new leads which are 200 C?

Yeah, I bought a 14t sprocket with it. These days I’m running 9/61 #35. Come a long way since then💯🍻

They do not. But you can just add them to your order. Separately. Like the battery. That way you can choose your own, if you want to.💯🍻
My battery came with the same adapter yours did but very very small , and won’t fit in my battery wires on my controller ? Can I put a new adapter on it ? Or
Of course. You need to match it to your battery.
Can you use the stock batteries or do you need to upgrade?
No. You need at least a 48v lithium battery with an output of at least 150amps IMO💯🍻

About 3-4 weeks. These kits are AWESOME. I would go with the 76v EXTREME Kit & ease your way into it with your tune. Very easy to do now. Just a slide over in an app.🔥🔥💯🍻

Sorry to comment on an old video but im about to buy a 48v kit with the same kelly controller, 3000w my1020 motor and 48v/20ah 50A battery. Its my first build/upgrade to my mx650 and i want to have my 8yo daughter and wife ride it as well as myself. Was the 48v kit enough to do wheelies? Im looking for a good place to start before going up to a 72v. Will I be happy with the 48v kit for awhile or do i need to wait for another month for a 60v or more? Thanks in advance for the help and insight.
I’d go 76v right away. You will want it anyway. And you can always tune her down with ease for your son, your wife or even yourself to start. Plus there is the 3 mode settings.💯🍻

What’s the wire called that you put on the positive and negative of the controller
The battery leads. There is also a red wire from the volt meter that will plug into positive also.💯🍻
I have a really important question for the battery did you put red wire on top of the other red wire to the controller or underneath it. Sorry if this doesn’t make sense
Makes perfect sense. I put the red wire already on the controller on top of the positive battery wire.

@@gavinsharp2537 No. but put the 14t sprocket on first. Then get the chain set on the sprocket before tightening the motor down.

Would this kit work with the Mx350?
It will if you find a way to make your own mount for the mountless my1020+ motor. Whether you have someone weld brackets in place or you bolt some on. I did do a build but with everything but the my1020+ motor. I just used the my1020 72v 3000w motor with brackets and used an adapter to fit controller. I’ll send you a run video and what I did. Recommend getting better suspension
If that’s a question, 100%. If you are recommending suspension, yessir, got a DNM air shock in the rear and IMO the best forks you can get for these bad boys. Appreciate it💯🍻

You can use your own battery. Do your research and get a battery equivalent to E&Cs or better, and you’re good.

How long do you think the whole process will take?
Not too long at all. I’d say carve out an hour or so. I took my time. Took some breaks. Enjoyed the process. Only thing I’d add is to take the rear wheel off to put motor in. Way easier.💯🙏🍻

What’s up man. Hmm. Idk what you mean. Didn’t have any issues with that. Did you get the hydros? Also, there is a screw on the caliper to align it. Hope that helped.🍻

The 5000w kit has an option for a 48v battery or a 72v 20ah battery. I wanted to eventually tune it to be the Surronster 6000w kit and beyond. So I needed to get my 72v 24ah battery to do so outside of the kit.

The longest wait is getting to shipping. Once E&C ships it, you’ll get it within a few days. You’re just on a list. And they do in order from RPO. 2-4 weeks latest. I’m forgetting the exact time frame. But if you read the comments, I’m sure some asked the same question. WELL Worth the wait. You WILL NOT be disappointed. I used to do that too. But I have the 12amp charger. So I charge it close to all the way up with no issues. Saves a lot of time and can’t tell the difference either way. Except how long it takes.💯🙏🍻

No we didn’t. Was selling it for a GREAT Price too. Nothing. So I worked around it and built my sons bike around it. VERY HAPPY with the performance. Glad it didn’t sell💯🙏🍻

Depends on how many amps the battery has. I think you could get around 20 to 30 miles with the 20 amp kit
Very descent range. Plus charging is easy & fast especially with 12amp charger. But I believe the 20-30 mile range with 20ah battery on eco mode or mode 1. I think that’s what they say. I have the 24ah battery. I haven’t done a range test personally. I have mine geared up high for speed at the moment. Definitely won’t get that range. Well worth it all the way around. Just a blast. I ride it everyday💯🙏🙏🙏🍻

When you order the kit, there are options listed to the right. You choose what you want and don’t want. Sprocket, Volt meter, Battery/charger. When I ordered my kit, I ordered it by itself. When I then ordered the batteries separately. There was an option to include the chargers.🙏💯🍻

@@irocss85 Hi. I finally contacted them, and the difference between the 2.0 and 2.1 kit is pretty small, but awesome nonetheless (I wish I had waited a couple of months). They added a temperature sensor and communication with the controller so it can both send data and provide a motor cut off should the motor reach a critical temperature. A pretty useful addition if you ask me.
When did you order the kit? Curious on the lead time now
I ordered the kit without battery on may 26th. Took about 3 weeks to ship and got it in 4. But may be longer now. I ordered the 72v battery on May 31st and should get it soon. I order the 48v battery around the same as the 72v and got it within 2 weeks. Hydraulic brakes came right away.
Worth the wait. Just get the order in ASAP.💯🍻

The 5000w kit is $579 without the battery. The 72v 24ah battery is $1,000. So about $1600 plus the bike itself. Definitely suggest FULL suspension upgrade. What I use is in more recent videos.💯🙏🍻
How is the motor and battery holding up?
Very well. I know their new batteries are 76v also now. Which is nice. So instead of 72v charging to 84v. It’s 76v charged to 88v.🙏💯🍻
