    Great video, lovely presentation, music, and photography. It has answered many questions about Anglesey.
    A few years ago I had a very powerful dream about being with a holy community on Anglesey island, the effect of the dream lasted for weeks with me, as if I had lived through some transformative event there in real life. Only when I researched Anglesey's history did I discover that it was an island and also had a holy community living on it. Some strange confection there.
    Some day soon I will visit it, thanks for the great video.
    What is the name of the background song?

      Really glad you enjoyed it Noel. It seems like Anglesey has been a holy island for millennia including the Druids and the early Christian saints. I think the place still has a mystical feel to it.

    It’s such a shame we have lost the history behind much of sites.

      Very true Jim, I suppose all we can do is look at as many sites as we can and try and glean as much as possible.

      Neil McDonald's Megalithic Tours thanks for responding. Can I ask, in your opinion do you think if it were not for the Romans wiping out the indigenous culture do you think it is more likely that we would know more about what our Neolithic ancestors really believed?

    • @NeilMcDonaldsMegalithicTours
      @NeilMcDonaldsMegalithicTours  4 роки тому

      @@PibrochPonder Its difficult to say because it seems the Bronze Age people were different to the Neolithic and maybe had a different belief system. Then we had the early Christian belief system mixing with the existing one that would have involved the Druids. Then of course the Romans came and wiped all that out followed by the Roman church that finished the job.
      It would be good to fully trace the Druid/Early Christian beliefs but the problem with going back to the Neolithic is that we can only view things though our eyes, which may be totally difference to the way they viewed the World.

      Neil McDonald's Megalithic Tours it’s such high a shame. We have all the ghosts of the past and very little real understanding.
      After this lockdown is over if you have an Anglesey, Yorkshire or Lake District tour going I would love to join it.

      @@PibrochPonder We had an Anglesey tour just before all the restrictions were put on so will probably be next year. This is the timetable for the rest of the year as long as things go well - megalithictours.com/tours/
