This was such a timely and lovely interlude...made me think deeply and go to an inner place of safety and peace. Thank you!

Philip, these tea times have become nearly the only “safe place” for me each week. Your voice and stories calm my nervous system down - which is incredible given everything going on in my life. You’ve helped me keep going over the past 7ish months since I found your channel by creating a space where I’ve felt warm, connected, and grounded for a half hour every week while you streamed live.
If doing these videos is no longer good for you, then of course take care of yourself and do what is best for you. I just wanted to make sure that you’re aware of how much light you bring into my life, and I’m sure many others.
Either way, thank you for sharing your presence and time with us as much as you have already, and I am REALLY hoping that you decide to come back.
I can say with confidence that you are impacting many people’s lives much more than you may realize ♥️

@@johnlavers3970Most cultures waged wars across History, thinking Anglos or Americans were the only ones, is not only ignorant, but also contadictory to History itself. It is time to let go of the hate that you Carry in your heart.

I am new to your channel, as I come looking for something 'more', something focused. Celtic spirituality and religion acting as a stepping stone.
I really enjoyed this tea video and particularly the blackbird meditation. With real life interruption.
My next video is your one with Damh the bard as I've enjoyed his music and sung some of his songs on open mic nights.
Thank you for the time and energy you shared.

I do suffer with a short attention span and I try to keep it in order ..sometimes when I'm wanting to read my gwers I struggle as 1 page is like doing a days work and I'm itching to finish for the day...yet on other days I can read through the whole gwers and start on another and I feel so full of spiritual happiness ..but short attention spans do suck..some days I can meditate other days I struggle but being a member of obod has helped me incredibly with my spiritual journey and I'm loving learning..I may be slow but I'm learning...blessings all...

Those physically uncomfortable times are the parts that need unknotting. Those, to me are the parts to pay attention to and to untangle-- like when you get a knot while knitting or spinning.

It is 2023 now last days of Aug. so happy to have found this. My creative ‘irritation ‘ usually lives in my hands when they ache and I know that I need to create something in clay. I haven’t done so in quite a while but have found my expression in my garden. The joy of seeing the birds and smaller creatures revelling in an organic oasis. No-dig allows all the tiny creatures the space to thrive.

Glad to join you, rather late, from Buffalo-Niagara. Wow your question is so timely, as I've been stumbling blindly through seven weeks of soul loss. "Discomfort and uncertainty" have moved-in and eaten all the food (poetically speaking). I'm enrolled in the "Awakening Magic" workshop and being creative is not flowing, but the process suggests a path in the darkness. Poetry offers a way to express the worst without shame getting in the way. Thanks for a lovely meditation. May your incubation lead you to a direct encounter with the wisdom of your earliest ancestral stream. Even the (your) softest whispers are mounted to the stars. What's flowing through my heart may as well be flowing from my eyes. Be thrice blessed.

Yes I understand that feeling. You may even be inspired or maybe not, but the tap is just dripping, or dribbling or outright turned off but if you stay with your intention for long enough, the tap will turn on,maybe slowly, maybe gradually or maybe very suddenly full flow!!

I was in Powell’s Books in Portland looking to buy some of your books yesterday- nothing available! Copies were in stock according to the computer database in store.
This was to be my birthday gift to myself- a stack of books on druidry and herbalism after a year of really difficult economic times I know I have company in that).
I had to settle for tax- free Oregon shopping for the making of tinctures and salves.

I've thought of it as a flowing river or stream (of creativity) but the mental blocks are like the rock over the stream blocking it's flow or a cloud blocking the sunlight - I've learned to be patient when this happens - sometimes it's the inner critic or you might remember a time at school when someone criticised your drawing or other work, or you saw the examples on the walls and thought "I'll never be as good as that" so it's like overcoming that mindset. Awen to me is flowing spirit like a river or the wind and often the intensity of the wind can affect or influence your mood - gentle breeze or strong blustery wind - I sometimes say 'that's the Awen'

When I closed my eyes, I saw light blue energy splashing, then the energy turned into light purple, swirling and disappearing in the black matter, I felt peace and relief, then it turned into light purple energy, it flowed like waves and I felt peace and relief.

It might help to take on the thought that the gift of creativity will be "given" at the right time, and not that we can "take" it at our time. This takes a willingness to be humble, listening, and open to receive. Your comments and meditation were helpful! Thankyou💚
