This song is such a wonderful anthem for all of us spiritual warriors fighting the good fight in the name of Christ!! While the world may be run by psychopaths and narcissists (and we seem to be surrounded by them as society breaks down!), causing us so much suffering in our daily lives, BUT we know the promises of God and that in the end, GOD WINS, LOVE WINS, LIGHT WINS!!! These songs are so relevant. Van in the NOW. We needed someone to come out and sing about these things and give some push back and express how the people are feeling. Seems only Van has the courage to do it, and thick skin from loads of experience to handle the backlash and criticism.

@@blackdogHH Been a fan since Astral Weeks 52 weeks ago... have seen him a couple of dozen times over the years... even went on crutches three weeks after knee surgery to see him once... and I listened to the new album here because I love Van.

Fabulous album, Van never disappoints.
This song is just beautiful! It has “Standard” written all over it! It will have such longevity! You must of taken a ride in a time machine way back, way down to the Delta with a stopover in Chicago on your return back here. Because it contains all the blues and jazz elements coupled with a contemporary conscious appraisal! I love it and will be listening to it many times over. It’s the kind of song that soaks right down in your shoes.

Great album!! Hard to find fault in the truth. Some people just can stand the truth.
Right? There's a four to five songs that upon only a few listens sounds like they might have been omitted (and the opener is hilarious trolling--deliberately annoying) but you just know even some of those are going to grow on you.
