Love this song it pretty much describes the malady of modern society. People forever seeking to be fixed by a broken world of ideas and methods of thought. People so out of touch with themselves and with God. Personal insight left undeveloped and the simplicity of being real has been masked over with affectation and mimicry.

Good music moves hearts and can bring the revolution.... I believe this is what I’ve been missing in my shrinking world of people who can still think. It may have the power to wake people up... Van used to be friends with my dad in the 70’s, and my dad is totally lost in the propaganda and believes all of the lies. Music could possibly wake him up, I hope he hears his old friend’s music.

No one comes close when it comes to quality of songs and length of career with quality songs, not to mention reinventing/redoing songs, sometimes even combining them (check out Ballerina/Move on Up combo redo live at the Hollywood Bowl on UA-cam).
I listened to that song multiple times per day for months and it still didn't get old.. only tune I can think of that I wasn't able to play out.
