I’m a Christian but I enjoy learning about Islam. As sons and daughters of Abraham we need to recognize our differences while showing appreciation for one another. God bless you!
ive made hijrah to morocco as well sis, im in agadir..and same thing has happened with me. but we have to remember that Allah tests you to see if your intentions are true. like when students travel to seek knowledge in the beginning, they end up being homeless and without food, they lose their passports, they get in situations where people are trying to misguide them, etc etc etc. Allah doesn't do it to harm them, but to see if they were sincere with why they came. And afterwards, ease comes. it's a promise of Allah, after hardship comes ease. All good things have the initial hardship that feels like its uplifted your world and turned it upside down, but don't give up ukhti. The harder it gets the closer you are to relief. May Allah rectify your situation.
Haven’t yet finished the video, but I just wanted to say, May Allah SWT grant you comfort and ease Karsen! I pray that he washes away your anxiety and grants you whatever it is, that your heart is seeking. Love you for the sake of Allah❤
Salaam Alaykum Karsen! You're always in my duaas, and truly a wonderful person and mother that it can be felt through the screen. May Allah bless you with a wonderful community and friends and may Allah bring you ease after all your hardships!
I pray for you dear sister that you soon find comfort and ease in Morocco. I wont forget you in my duaas. I am Moroccan living in Morocco in the south, and I wish I could hug you and welcome you through the screen.
Always remember this Ayah ﴿وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُم بِشَيْءٍ مِّنَ الْخَوْفِ وَالْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ الْأَمْوَالِ وَالْأَنفُسِ وَالثَّمَرَاتِ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ﴾ I do have these control issues but i try to reassure myself that Allah is the best planer, we have to wait and see and it is difficult for us as human being (وكيف تصبر علي ما لم تحط به خبرا ) May Allah ease your burden soon .. amen
I experienced this, this year. Moved from places at months at a time for 11 months due to instability, Allah will reward you immensely. It will be so fruitful, I promise you
I'm feeling for you and I hear your trust in what Allah chose for you by moving to a new country. I had to relocate back to Morocco i just arrived a few days ago "I came from Ontario Canada" I would love to offer help as a Muslim sister. I'll keep you in my prayers and would love to connect with you.
Dear Karsen, I remember you making a video about fashion brands, who use quality material and have good working conditions for their employees. It's time to renew my wardrobe, but this time, I want to do it right. However, I can't find the websites you had shared in the description of your older video about this topic, but I'm a 100% sure that you had shared some websites. Could you share them with me or name some global brand names? It could also be no name companies. JazakAllahu khayr!
It is true that in our Arab countries we are poor in terms of material things, but we are rich in terms of spirit and psychology. Countries where suicide is more prevalent are developed countries in the West. Immigration to Muslim countries is to protect religion and children. (O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones.)
@@rses916and I’m British with many British family, who have money and complain about living here too. 🫤 It’s a shame what the colonisers have done with our lands back ‘home’.
Hi Karsen, I think I might have missed why you call this move a hijrah. I’m curious about this honestly. I pray you guys find a way you can resolve your situation and be in a better place soon. As a Turkish family, we’ve been debating whether or not to move to another place for better education and living standards for our kiddo but then it’s all an unknown. Today we were at IKEA picking up a few things and it suddenly dawned on us that if we move, we’ll have to make many visits to Ikea and start over a new life when we have it all set up here. And then if we can’t adapt or like our new living situation, then what? Urgh, it’s so hard to even consider moving, how did you guys decide?
It could just be a test from Allah. How many muslims struggle in Palestine it doesn't mean they're punished. That's how you know if you have real faith or not. Not judging you I've been through a lot but I know my faith has been shook to the core. When your tests make no sense that's how you know this is it.
you should teach english, native speakers teachers are highly prized you might not like to teach a gender mixed class. you can start by only females class or ONE ON ONE Careful of people trying out for one class or two, then not paying you and wanting free class
My parents are from Morocco and I could never be able to live there. I love nature I love the green trees the grass in Europe. And also the Moroccan society is very materialistic and it's all about having money and showing off. Unless you live in the country side in the mountains with the berbers (I'm berber family is from the south orginally from the mountains) where people live a modest simple beautiful life with country values then ok otherwise I'd never think of hijrah there. Women don't even go to the masjid culturally. People there judge you constantly too if you have anxiety forget it peoppe there stare too much at people in the streets it's horrible it's like India lol never been there but I know they stare there too. I lived there for 6 months (agadir) not for hijra just to chill during covid crisis and I couldn't wait to come back to Europe.
Ah, my biggest struggle has been the nature too. I miss the forests and mountains a lot. We live by a village so not a materialistic area, but you’re right it’s often one extreme or the other.
@@karsbreanneexactly. Awww inshallah you will be wherever is the best for you all. Imo the best countries to live as muslims are in Asia like indonesia Malaysia life seems more peaceful and people more chill not materialistic but practicing at the same time. But I know it's not easy to migrate there. May Allah make it easy for you ❤
Allah created east and west. Why move to Morrocco with a lower standard of life where you're clearly not happy when Allah created this whole earth to live on? Especially when there is such a good muslim community in the UK? "Hijra" in arabic just means "immigration", not "immigration to be near more muslims". Take care sis and remember theres nothing wrong with going back home if you're unhappy.
A number of reasons, we wanted the kids to learn Arabic, to benefit from being in a Muslim country. We don’t plan on settling here long term anyway but wanted them to get some benefit in the early years. There is a lot of goodness here for us but our circumstances are making it difficult right now.
Current Morocco would be considered Dar-Al-K__r by orthodox Fiqh standards. All those new Muslims running to low-grade replicas of their W3stern high-grade Dar-Al-K__r are in for a big surprise and disillusionment.
Says an ignorant nobody who's neither a scholar nor someone with 2 peanuts worth of intelligence. Moroccans are peace loving, committed Muslims who love God and his Prophet. They have a long history, beautiful culture and hospitality that's unmatched. Indecency and fusuq are everywhere in all Muslim countries, but that does not mean the entire population are faasiqiin (corrupted). Get a life

Do you have any updates from your brunette friend who was part Morocco’s and indigenous and had tattoos? Is she alright
She’s not Moroccan, but no we’re not actually friends anymore unfortunately. Though I do still get asked about her often lol.
She was a bit of a culture vulture, wasn't Moroccan. She sadly left Islam too.
