ADEA, from Montreal, Canada is a full-time content creator who makes educational videos about being transgender. Initially, Adea’s huge TikTok following didn’t know she was trans, however, when she came out in 2018 she lost a staggering 50,000 followers. "I was really shook", she said. However, this did not dent her resolve to help others and the influencer made weekly videos on her feminisation surgical journey. "All the hate I got and all the followers I lost didn't do anything to my goal to educate people because I know how it has saved my life and it could save a lot more people's lives." Adea came out when she was 16 years old, and faced some judgement from the community around her, "especially where I live people are not aware of what being trans is, they think it's like a man in a wig", she explained. "I was depressed growing up and I never really felt happy. As soon I knew what being trans was I knew that was me and I was in the wrong body." In this episode of Shake My Beauty Adea speaks to her dad about how he felt when she first came out and how their relationship has changed over that journey.

Depressed and not happy isn’t gender dysphoria. Being a tomboy doesn’t mean you’re trans! All you little tomboy girls out there remember that!! don’t let these people confuse you into thinking you were “born in the wrong body.” Not every girl is girly. You don’t have to fit in when you’re an adult. Everything is better after HS. I’m a girl who likes sports, woodworking, snowboarding etc. I met a nice man when I was 27. I'm not tomboy but certainly have the same interests, and struggle to make friends with girls because of these interests not being very common. Also because I'm direct and many girls get upset too quickly.

You think you accomplished something by making that comment but actually you've failed to acknowledge that your gender and your sex are two separate things. Your gender can change because it is a social construct based on the ideas of male and female. But your sex will always be the same because it is a physical construct (unless scientists find a way to alter your DNA structure).

I've actually been watching her videos for a very long time and I love her to pieces! I am a CIS gender woman, and I'm straight but I have always been such a huge supporter of trans people and the LGBT community, my daughter is 13 came out to us about 6 months ago that she can't sexual and dating her best friend who is a girl and you know she wasn't afraid to come and tell us because she knew that we would love and support her no matter what and we do and I told her that it doesn't matter if the person you fall in love with is a different gender than you or the same gender as you as long as there is love there for each other that's what's important! I hope more people will grow to be accepting of others regardless of gender or sexual preference, I know we live in a very negative world but I just want those of you out there seeking acceptance because you're different, the only person that truly matters is you and how you feel, they're going to be people in this world that don't agree with you and there are going to be people in this world that agree with you and love you no matter what, focus on that focus on the people that love you and agree with you and accept you for who you are not the people that don't, they are close-minded people who aren't worth your time Or thoughts! Okay do I'm not religious but I feel we are all here for a reason. I went through a very bad addiction and lost my leg early on. It's not the same but I truly believe that if that didn't happen I would be dead and God did it to slow me down. In the beginning I still didn't slow down I was blind. Anyway I've wanted to go online and tell my story and reach others that may be lost and need help and show them there's a life waiting for them. So when it comes to that I understand and applaud your bravery your beauty inside and out and helping others find a life after being lost in the dark scared to admit to themselves and others who they are. I know it confusing but most of us start addiction by way of social interaction and then self esteem, abuse, and we begin the self hatred cycle and we also hurt others. Each way is the same but how we do it is different. Anyway I say that because even though my story is horrific it doesn't feel any different then someone else's story feels to them. The medical field has come a long way. If you're willing and able to pay for it you can change your voice, your facial bone structure, permanently remove facial hair, get a hair transplant, etc. Trans women can look as feminine as they are willing and able to pay for and go under the knife for.
As a result some of them are unclockable.

My opinions have changed after encountering with genuine trans people I was skeptical and had a lot of prejudices towards gays and trans people in general around the social circles, community I grew up In and was indoctrinated from that and it took me 14 years to come to senses

Maybe 16 because that's when puberty starts really going crazy and morphing the body. You can't go back once that's done and the face/bone structure is set for life. However, before 16 I would absolutely not allow my child near any blockers. You can dress how you want but nothing chemically.
@Ellie You can't change natural bulk. Big muscle arms and wide flat masculine feet as well as petite features in trans women can stay that way permanently if they start on T later. There are some stories when a couple gets married, they have a child and then one of the parents decides that he/she was always trans. And normally you will say ok, it is their life but then you look at the same family, and suddenly their four years old son/ daugther, he or she is also trans. I really don't understand. Some people will say I judge here but I am just curious, don't you think it takes more time for a child to decide their gender? It is like parents always want the kids to be like them, this is how I see it.
There is a study that points to transgender being hereditary in Australia. It is a brain biomarker and white matter structure issue. So not too shocking.

Being transgender isn't a bad thing. It's also not something people just choose to be. I agree that people can't really know if they're trans at extremely young ages and that's part of the reason why I'm against people receiving hormonal drugs to make people experience puberty as the opposite sex. But if your 18 or older then it's your personal choice how you respond to your feelings and as long as you understand what you are doing then there isn't any issue.

There is a list given in the book of revelation of people who will suffer eternal loss on judgment day and be cast into the lake of fire. All the people listed will obviously be hard-hearted unbelievers, but the list given does focus in on the nature of such individuals. Liars are mentioned, along with murderers and whoremongers. Such people could have been saved and redeemed but refused the gospel. But one of the sinful characteristics mentioned is "the cowardly". And who will these people be? They will be people who chose to please men rather than obey God. They are people who are more desperate for human approval than the approval of their Creator. Seeing all kinds of people responding to this video with applause and affirmation makes me think of this passage and text. Cowardly people love the praise of sinful men more than the praise of a holy God. The sad part about all of this is that such praise and affirmation will be very short-lived and will end with the "wailing and gnashing of teeth" the Bible describes will be heard on judgment day. There will be sentiments of sorrow, regret and horror on the future day of judgment, when people realize they chose darkness rather than light.
