I used to use this garbage back in high school (mid-2000s) when I had LONG hair. I don't know what the hell I was thinking. Like, why did I do that?
I used this up until 8th grade, when I started growing my hair out (shoulder length or more).
From 5th grade to 8th grade all of us BMX/skateboard kids used LA Looks to spike our hair... nostalgia!
SalandFindles same here..well, it did the job and u weren’t a snob so that’s that right?! Lol this shit got rock hard and was the go to when the soft aloe vera stuff wouldn’t cut it until adaptating to more natural styles. At this point i can say i’ll never use it again or style my hair the way i did, while using this. Today it’s all about wax/paste/clay/tonics/petro-free beeswax based goods👍

If you have curly hair this gel is the best. It’s not actually crap if you use for lose hairstyles. Plus it’s alcohol free. Some of them even have avocado oil in it.

this gel was total ass and if you put too much it will flake and ppl will make fun of you saying that you have dandruff
used to use this in high school and hated it. rediscovered it at 30 when I started to embrace my curly hair. it's really good to accentuate your natural curls: just apply it to wet hair, let it dry (or dry it with hair dryer preferably) and "scrunch out the crunch." Your hair will become movable and will keep the curls and you don't get any flakes! there are lots of videos on the "Curly Girl Method" on youtube so check them out if you don't believe me.

If I could make a suggestion, you should try demon barber - hard pomade. So far it’s my crappiest pomade. But it smells like oranges. I kind of love the smell. Says it’s strong hold, but it’s maybe a medium water base. Haha it’s not near as good, as the axe pomade

The trick to this gel or ANY other gel is putting a leave-in BEFORE applying the actual gel. I get great results every single time!

Brought me back to my middle/high school days haha. I used to wet my hair and then run my fingers through my curls just to define them lol I loved having to continuously wipe my shoulders off from the flakes...not! Haha
When I wore a pomp in the 90's I used plenty of those crappy drug store hair gels. It was either that, or the really old school stuff like Bryllcream, which I didn't like. There was no Lay Rite, Suavecito, or any of those cool pomades like there are today.

I remember a product like this call Dippety Dew. Used it in the play, Grease, in hs. This stuff is like concrete.
