Been wanting to try this gel. The Zotos Curl gel is thick Iike that too & adding water helps applying easier. The combination of AG Recoil & the Harry's Gel was a definite winner! I tried blow drying my hair like you do & it worked so well for volume! Should have tried it sooner! Ty so much! Blessings !
Oh, one thing I have been thinking about- when you review a product for the first time, it would be helpful if you could call out key ingredients or lack of ingredients. For example, this cream has protein and glycerin but no aloe or coconut.
I just tried this gel...the minute it touched my hair it's like it started to suck all the water...my hair was soaking wet and it stopped dripping. I got scared and mixed it with more water and had to add a bit more curl cream so it wouldn't dry out my hair...I did get a hard cast though but it's a no for me...
I sniffed the Harry’s gel in a grocery store. As a migraine person, I was afraid a gel targeted for men might be heavily scented but I agree that it’s fragrance is not overpowering. I haven’t actually tried the gel though. Good video 👍🏼
One of my favorite thick sticky gels is Nature’s little secret okra curl defining gel. Curls of a CPA recommended it and I have loved it since trying it. It gives me shiny bouncy voluminous curls and holds up well for me.
Great video. I had considered trying this gel but never did. How are you enjoying not dying your hair? Would you consider doing a video discussing different types of haircuts and who they are best for? I really struggle to find hair stylists who cut my hair well and understand my hair. I usually wind up feeling insulted because they tell me my hair is frizzy. The last person who cut my hair told me that my hair isn’t just curly but is also textured, and when I asked her what that meant, she said it means my hair is inherently frizzy. They also always tell me that my hair would be less frizzy if I would dye my grey hairs (my hair still looks basically brown). So I wind up leaving salons not liking my cuts because they don’t listen to me and also feeling bad about the texture of my natural hair.
I love Harry’s gel for definition! The downside for me is that it doesn’t hold up as well in high humidity so it’s not a summer gel where I live. And it’s hard to beat that price point!

Also, when they tell me my hair is frizzy because of the greys, I tell them that my hair was frizzy before the greys too.
