WOW'O'WOW that is really loud. It could drive a person nutty! The last time they came my 80 year old sculptor friend and I went up into the forested bluffs. We just sat in the car and listened, but they weren't as loud as yours. I've yet to see one close-up. Yes! To the pipe. It gives her character. And you do grungy sometimes, then bright other times. Occasionally you go full speed and combine both. Never limit yourself. Use all our world has to offer.🌟
Oh my gosh, that cicada roar is deafening. We've been around them at different times, but I'm always still amazed. I'm sure you'll be delighted when they're gone! Lovely journal. . . every page is a feast for the eyes!
Delighted to see the art pipe lady again. Thanks for sharing this journal 🧡. Wow cicadas! Jason could write a humorous blues song about being sickadah cicadas.
I miss the cicadas! My children and I used to watch them come out of thier shells...or as long as we could stand there and watch. We would leave and come back and check on one or two that we chose to watch. It is really interesting. I wish I had had a way to document it then like we do not with our cell phones! Your journals are AWESOME as usual!!!!!! You do the neatest things in them. Those paintings should be in frames!!!!!!!
Hi Lynn, wow what an inspiring idea. So many times I am like all over the show. Feeling like doing something arty, but too many ideas and completely unsettled. This would be the perfect type of journal for me to start. Thanks for the inspiration, love your art🎶🌸🌻
Wow, I heard the cicadas while you were filming! I love this journal and all your pretty lady faces inside. I think your style is grungy with bright highlights! I’ve missed you, was glad to see a video on this rainy Friday morning!
Thank you, Kim! I've been working a lot of hours, but I think I'm finding a new balance. It takes a little bit. I hope to record more, now that I'm used to standing on concrete again for 35-40 hours a week. LOL xx
I love it when you get a wild hair and randomly just start painting when your flipping through a journal. I will have to watch the other journal flip through again.
I love the cicadas, however we haven’t had the large amount you have…I might feel differently if we did. I always enjoy watching your flip throughs, this journal reminded me to work on drawing faces again. It has been awhile.
This is such a fun journal. I love the way everything looks good together even if one might not think about using those things or colors together. It works. Very inspiring. I like the pages all sticking out at different levels, too. Just so much fun. I was so surprised in another of your videos when you were talking about the cicadas coming out and making so much noise. We don't get cicadas until later in the summer when it's getting hot, and we certainly don't have the level of noise you're talking about. That could be a beating to hear that all the time. Do they get quiet after dark? I can't remember if the ones here in North Texas do or not. Thanks for sharing with us.
Hey girlfriend ❤ My favourite kind of video! I love your flip throughs. I've also just watched a video from Natasha over on Treasure Books, here in Australia, she's just made a bunch of paper dolls using magazine ladies and scrap papers for the skirt. I highly recommend checking her out. Much love, Lynn. Coffee keeps me sane.🇦🇺💖💖💖💖
Hey girlfriend! Thank you so much! I'm definitely familiar with Treasure Books. I will have to check out her paper dolls! I hope you have a beautiful day!! xx

So glad you know Natasha ❤ She's a genius with paper! 😁🇦🇺💖🤗
The cicadas sound like a Star Trek phaser. I have to keep an eye on the dog because she eats them and I understand that it can cause stomach upset.
Anna, LOL, that's a great description! Thank you so much for the postcard!! It's in my new journal. xx
At 4 minutes is recycled packaging that I got from my friend Mary C.
