Hi! Thank you so much! I've had a busy week and not much chance to record, but hopefully will be able to add some videos this week. I appreciate having you here! xx
You make cool journals, I have family in, staying for 3 weeks, leaving after Thanksgiving, so I haven’t had much time to play, until tonight, but My question for you is, Have you ever played with dying paper’s much? I enjoy Experimenting, I made beautiful papers using wild blackberries I picked from the mountains, some gorgeous dark purple’s, to a blueish/gray, to a pinky red, depending on the ripeness of the berries, when they are in season, and tonight I played with using wild Walnuts from trees around our place, 😂it was a lot of work for little difference from tea-stain shades it’s how it’s looking like it will dry, similar to tea stain. But I’m Curious to know what have you tried? The blackberry I have done a few times, don’t think I will do walnuts again. 😊❤
Hi! Thank you for commenting and sharing! I'm catching up on comments, seems I'm always a bit late. I have done a bit of staining. I love tea staining, as we all do; would love to try avocado staining. As far as actual plants, I've played with iris blooms when they were damp from rain -- the old fashioned, deep purple ones. They added some lovely color to the pages. I enjoyed playing a little bit with poke berries. I really want to do some for real bathing of the papers with plant material. I bet the blackberries made gorgeous color! xx❤❤❤
Lynn, the ribbon you love was also loved by a lady in my town who had the trim on her house painted that exact color! This journal is especially attractive 🌟
I love how they are all the same and then they are all different at the same time! ❤
Thank you so much! xx
