Helen, what a delight to "meet" you in Karen Abend's Sketchbook Revival. I love the dot painting you made for your class with her. But I love all of the variety in this sketchbook. Thank you so much. -- Barbara Clark
@@barbclark69 Thank you so much for your lovely words Barbara and for being here 🥰 I so enjoyed being part of Sketchbook Revival, such a lovely community 🩷
Thank you for sharing this beautiful journal. I found it so inspiring and can't wait to experiment with some of your techniques and backgrounds. I tend to sit for hours looking at artist's journals instead of just getting started with a new page but your art is now officialy a favourite and for me it's time well spent. Can't wait to see the finished journal.
That’s so lovely of you to say, thank you very much Mariette. I look forward to sharing the completed journal with you and I hope you have lots of fun with yours too 🥰❤️
Thank you for sharing this journal. It's really beautiful and so much fun to see all the different techniques that you've tried. It's very inspiring, thank you. ❤
Helen: I enjoyed watching you go through your journal. And seeing how you try different things. It always gives me different ideas for my glue books. I am working on an interior design/garden altered book. However, I’ve notice that it is starting to become a bit of a journal about some of the pictures and designers I admire. The Muse is guiding me along. I’m a bit surprised about this direction, but intrigued too. Grown comes to us in all different ways. Your experiencing is very encouraging to me. Thank you. Thank you so much for your lovely words Carol. That’s so great that you’re following your muse, you can’t go wrong with that. That must be a wonderful and inspiring selection of pages coming together ❤️
I am always in love with your videos and journals, Helen. They are so beautiful and inspiring. And I really like how calming is your voice. I only wish I was able to draw, then I would definitely apply more of your content on my own journal :)
Beautiful and inspiring journal spreads 🌟✨️🌟 So many gorgeous art pieces, and of course your handwriting is stunning. 👍👍 Today it's one of the biggest holidays here, Midsummer's Eve. Spending it at our cottage in the forest. Our collie Leia loves it here! /Ditte 🤓 🇸🇪
A whole lesson on splashes!! How exciting! I loved this flip through Helen & well done for finding a way to use all the pages without spoiling the previous ones. I thought your still life was magical. Will you be going back to a flex book when the time has come?
You’ll be an expert on the splashes in no time! I’m actually quite enjoying having to find different ways to use the pages, it’s stretching me in new ways. I will definitely be tempted to go back to the Flexbook, but I’ll see how I feel in a couple of months ❤️
This is pure beauty and perfect to watch before bedtime. My soul feels happy and light with your art ❤ thank you

Do you have to fix the Distress Oxide in some way? Or just not get it wet? Great idea
@@susanweber6861 Thank you. I’ve never fixed my Distress Oxide, but wet layers would very likely reactivate the ink ❤️
