That sounds like a good idea Caroline, because some of the prices can be out of reach when you are on a budget, the pants do look good on you. The first blouse, I agree with you. The other blouses look good on you but please make sure you are comfortable. It's about you, Caroline, you are beautiful inside and out. You are a beautiful woman of God. I love the pants and the flowered blouse on you! Perfect for your skin tone and not at all frumpy! I love the blazer too, but maybe not with that outfit. I’d cuff the sleeves on it to 3/4 and it would look great with a nicer tee and jeans. You’ll get tons of use from it with any number of outfits. It just takes away from the flower shirt and pink pants IMO. Happy birthday, darling mama. Your sweet little family is precious!! God bless your leadership training!!!

The top with the white background and the flowers with tulip sleeves really looks nice. The little fitted area at the waist makes you look slimmer and it goes great with those pants which fit well too. I would say yes on that outfit

All in all everything looks good on you and I think you should choose what you feel best in. Stop criticizing yourself because you want to lose a few pounds. You are beautiful inside and out young lady and you should exhibit more confidence in yourself. If we go through life body sizes go up and down but what really counts is what is inside. Two hundred dollars for the whole box is not bad. I loved the pants, the floral top and the blazer. I am sure you could have used the other tops with another outfit. I thought this was a good box. that blazer are a good investment. I understand about budgets. Maybe you can find a beige blazer at a better price. That color will go with so many things. Keep on Keepin on Sista.

I feel the same way about pricey clothes but you should get the blazer and if you must justify it it's mothers day and your birthday! You need nice clothes for work.
I've struggled with my weight for my entire adult life. Depending on my work schedule, I'm required to dress ranging from business casual to business professional. I have had very good luck shopping at JC Penney and have even gotten merchandise from the clearance section. They have nice quality plus-size dress clothes. I understand how feeling self conscious in your clothes affects all aspects of your life and that building a career wardrobe can be especially challenging. A few tips I can share are:
- Don't buy something you aren't immediately comfortable in. Odds are you'll never wear it and the cost of the item will become wasted money.
- Avoid wearing something you already own that you're uncomfortable in. It's likely you'll spend a lot of your day pulling on and adjusting your clothes. Doing that may reflect on how others perceive your confidence.
- Buy quality over quantity. If you buy cheap clothes, they won't last and will cost more in the long run.
- Limit trendy styles. Buy mostly classic styles instead. Classics don't go out of style and you'll get more use from them over time.
- Trendy is great too. Just buy less expensive brands because trendy will go out of style before you feel like you've gotten your money's worth if you spend a lot.
- If you find a pair of classic dress pants you love, buy them in a few colors (2 black, 1 navy, 1 gray, and 1 brown or tan depending on the season).
- Spend less on pants that are trendy colors. Less classic colors don't stay in style for long enough to justify buying great quality.
- If you find a sleeveless top you love but don't want to show your arms, wear it under a blazer. I've gotten some on clearance at the end of summer and worn them in the fall and winter under a blazer.
- Try to let go of the guilt while you're building your wardrobe. It's a career investment.
- Read the care labels and take care of your clothes accordingly.
- Make sure your shoes are in good condition. Scuffed, worn, or unpolished shoes can ruin the most expensive and beautiful outfit.
- Try not to be so hard on yourself and give yourself grace! Treat yourself the way you'd treat a friend with the same insecurities.

I like longer tops too I have a pain pump inserted in my r lower quadrant. So I like to try to cover it or camouflage it ! It. Gf
I think you made the right decision in only keeping the pants. If you are making a conscious effort to build your corporate wardrobe, then investing in some nice key pieces that will work well with other separates may be wise at some point. But you do what feels right for you🫵! The pants were really cute!

Have you ever shopped Grace and Lace? They have these top extenders that peek out at the bottom of tops to extend the length! I just love them

I too find it very hard spending so much money on myself unless its for quality basics that never go out of style. Great presentation! I hope Stitch Fix takes your suggestions about their pricing. That would be so helpful to say "this is my price range and this is what I like." Hi Caroline, I just watched your video and can understand you thinking that the prices are way too high! Have you tried TEMU for plus sized clothes? (And for anything else you can imagine!!!). I think it's worth you at least looking into it. Their prices are FANTASTIC!!!!
It was a good box....I think you were right about the rose flowered top....the fit was good...slimming but it was too old looking for you. I used to get stich fix but I stopped getting the boxes because it was not within my budget.

I love the pants and understand your general opinion of mid-rise. I really loved both of the floral print shirts in you, well, the blazer as well. But I am the exact same way about spending money on yourself. I truly respect your outlook on wearing clothes that flatter your figure, it seems to be lost in most of your generation. The last top was so cute on you! The print on the tulip top makes it look like it was made out of granny's curtains. The blazer was pretty, but I can understand why you sent it back. TJ Maxx or Ross may have it at a more reasonable price. I tried your dump and go chili...really good! 😋🥣

I agree with your assessment of the blacktop because they have too much open area. You might could take a couple of nips and Tucks and make it work however. The other flower print top he is cute but is too reminiscent of the one with the Tulip sleeves which I love. The Blazer is nice and has a good fit but definitely would look better with different pants and blouse or top. I am iffy on the blazer because of the price

I thought everything looked good on you except the black blouse. I wouldn't feel comfortable in that blouse either. I thought the the floral blouse was pretty and I thoroughly disagree with the person who said it looked like it was made out of grandma's curtains. I think you made the right decision, I couldn't spend that much money on clothes either. Your flowers look beautiful ! Caroline, you surely must have a green thumb if you can just plant stuff and it grows.
Did you know that if you are legally blind you can send and receive letters and packages postage free in the mail through the USPS> It's called "FREE MATTER FOR THE BLIND" which it saves a ton on postage

Stitch fit is a big nope for me. You are out $20 right off the bat and that is the best scenario. You then try to justify spending three times the price because you "get $20 off".Then you think "I might as well get it all so I "save 20%".You get a bunch of clothes that you don't like or a bunch of clothes that you love that are overpriced.
