My advice is to learn how to lose weight because you can get a bbl but when you start having kids and gaining weight you will need to lose it after. Take it from me, I had 3 babies and gained 40 pounds each time and lost the 40 pounds before getting pregnant again. So trust me keep trying it will happen and that will stick for the future

This is such good advice that alot of women don't think about. If pregnancy is in your plans, really consider how practical going under the knife is. I think it's best to do it once you're done having kids so you can fully enjoy it.
      Either way, great advice!

PharmD student here! Diet is the majority of weight loss and exercise is a adjunct to help with cardiovascular health. I’ve struggled with fluctuating weight for the last few years and what’s helped me is intermittent fasting and eating at a slight caloric deficit to start. Making sure meals are anti-inflammatory and promote gut health (address gut concerns as well!). Making sure that healthy foods are satisfying to eat and actually tasting good has been huge for consistency! For exercise honestly I’ve just been walking for now and trying to meet my step goals. Also on a mental note, removing the notion of “bad” and “good” and “cheat meals” because I used to beat myself up about it. Addressing emotional stressors and emotional eating was also important to my progressI hope this helps!

Going under the knife has a lot of risks and not to mention the complications that come with procedures in the long run physically and mentally. Try changing your lifestyle beginning from your mind and it will help you in the long run. Because once you see the results of your hard and dedicated work ethic you wont want to go back. The BBLs are a trending today and will die out in the near future when it will be hard to change your body back to normal ( like K. Michelle). I have lost over 140 pounds after healing my soul with the word of GOD and by deciding to change my lifestyle.

  • @bonijaykay

As of today I have lost 116 pounds over four years. Before that I had lost 50 pounds and then gained 80 pounds. I say this first so you understand that I am speaking from experience. I think it is so important to involve medical professionals in your health journey. Working with an endocrinologist changed my life. I have PCOS and even though I was working out before it wasn’t until I was on the right care plan that I started to lose weight. I must also say that losing weight will never replace two things. First is the internal work you have to continually do on yourself - your body will change in this life, that’s just how it is. Second, that your overall health is always more important than any number on a scale. Sending love, light and strength.

I started taking magnesium glycinate for sleep and little did I know it also helps with sugar cravings. My cravings are basically non-existent and it’s been a month since I started taking it. You may have a magnesium deficiency because that’s a sign when you crave sugar and no one tells us this.

So, I’m much older than you and somewhat agree with you, that you may increase in weight as you age. But, that does not need to happen if you focus on clean eating, intermittent fasting and moving at least 2-3 a week you will reach your goals I started losing weight after doing a 21 day Daniel Fast. I found that my sweet and carb cravings decreased. I’m trying to eat more plant based meals which help with bloating and better bowel habits. I just feel so much better. I also stopped eating out for at least 2 months. You can do it Chizi, because your health is work it. We woman must decrease our abdominal girth as it increases our risk for a cardiac event. By the way I’m a nurse. I’m rooting for you. Also, our bodies are the temple of God. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Weight loss is about 80-90% your food, I advise cutting out added/processed sugars, this will also help improve your energy levels and improve sleep.
Strip down everything you consume to only natural, clean or plant based foods directly traceable to source(animal/plant), without additives and preservatives.
Explore an antiflammatory style diet and play around with new types of proteins, like pulses and legumes.
I agree Chizi, I feel the biggest thing about this journey is the mind sometimes 😅 mindset and just learning to cook food in a healthier way,
not subracting radically, but learning about nutrition, adding more fresh foods, just exploring healthier but still tasty versions of your fav food.

It's so good that you're working out as it's great for mental health and wellbeing of your body. But I'm sure you know this but the key to losing weight is calorie deficit. I naturally do intermittent fasting as I am so busy also (lazy) to eat when I wake up so I fast over 12 hours. I would suggest that. I normally eat one meal a day or at most two meals. Your authenticity is refreshing - thank you for taking us on your journey .
I personally think that a lifestyle change might be more sustainable vs going under the knife .
My recommendation is to try and figure out what works for you .
Example - what workouts do you enjoy ? Weights ? Walking etc ? The more you do what you enjoy , the more you will stick to it .
Secondly - a sweet tooth isn’t necessarily a bad thing , perhaps think of how to incorporate it smartly into your life .
I looove a sweet tooth , to manage calories - Instead of having a meal plus desert , I just have the desert as my meal. For instance , if I want to indulge in apple pie and ice cream (my fav) - I could have a light breakfast (fruits) and lunch (light salad and chicken ) and then indulge in the desert at dinner time .
I find that incorporating the changes into your lifestyle vs a quick fix can be more enjoyable and sustainable .
    You’ve got this sis ! ❤

Hi sweeties. Over eatting can be a way to confort yourslef if you do not know how to ask for comfort. A lot of times it can stem from our infancy and how we learned if we can rely on others to comfort us and meet our needs, or if our needs were shamed or ignored. Shopping and sex addiction can also have that same root cause. When you are stressed, have empathy with yourself and know you are valuable and not a stupid failure just because you are in a rough spot, everyone gets in rough spots and everyone deserves emotional support. Either reach out for comfort from a friend or learn to comfort yourself with enpathy and understanding. We may think that evwryone know how we are feeling and harbor resentment that wveryone knows and no one wants to help but feeling exposed like that is in your head from infancy if yoy had a parent who would punish you for emotions or opinions. People only know what we are vulnerable enough to tell them. Put the cookies down. Start makjng bone both out of chicken bones, broth has been revitalizing for me. I dont believe in gym exercise ita just all diet and fuling your body with love❤ idk why i am saying this here but its just in case someone needed to hear it, like i did!

When you are watching out for certain sins and are victorious in those areas, the enemy will come for you in other areas. I wouldn’t consider surgery for weight loss as a believer for esthetic reasons.. but attack the spirit of gluttony with fasting and prayer. Victory in this area will take your walk with God to higher heights and the devil will flee from you when you resist him. ❤️ praying for you. So many of us are dealing with the same thing.

I've been binge watching your videos.. And The fact that you're going through everything I'm going thru right now... Whew! 💯 🎯 We got this! I rebuke the spirit of gluttony and call forth the fruit of the Spirit self control! It is def a combo of what u said... The enemy trying to find a way in.. And not having other vices to use... But thankfully we are aware of the spiritual warfare so we are prepared! For me it's Time for fasting and praying... And more deliverance (of gluttony) if need be! When I went thru deliverance gluttony for food wasn't a thing... But this clean house must have attracted it... So eviction time starts now!

It's May now and I have not lost a single ounce 😭 when i say I feel defeated I could just lie down and die 😪 I'd come back to exercise after slowing regaining about 50lbs since losing it in 2017-2018, then regaining some and and losing some again in 2020. Thing is I loved how my body looks bigger and curvier, feels so feminine and me but then there comes a shift where I feel heavy and icky and lose all motivation to even workout which makes it worse!

This life I hate stress, just do your best and let the belle hang if it wants to hang, you’ll probably lose weight again, probably gain weight too. Don’t worry about pregnancy weight gain because if you breastfeed you burn an extra 500 calories a day so if you breastfeed on a nutrition plan while staying active which you’ll likely have to if you’re at all an involved parent because kids give you tight schedules again, swimming, baby gym, nursery/ school, and extras like sports dance class etc in addition to your own schedules, basically as long as you don’t end up staying in one place just eating for weeks and months you’ll be fine.

    • @misschi_xoxo
      @misschi_xoxo 6 місяців тому

Question, when you make a meal using your food scale, do you eat everything that you measure out because sometimes my problem with using it, is that like I also weigh my ingredients before I'll cook, but I don't necessarily eat everything so I find myself always questioning about the accuracy of the amount of calories that I'm actually calculating

    • @leahc8792
      @leahc8792 5 місяців тому +1

@@misschi_xoxo if using MyFitnessPal you can create recipes using all the ingredients. Once you are done cooking, weigh the entire dish, then you decide what would be a serving and it calculates the calories in the serving. Only downer is that you need to remember what weight one serving is.
For example I make beef stew, I add all the ingredients to the “beef stew” recipe, after it’s cooked I weigh all the beef stew, then measure out what I think I’d eat as one serving. Divide the total weight by that serving weight to calculate # of servings in the recipe.
Otherwise, what I weigh, I eat.

Congrats on embarking that journey! It’s not easy but you got this!
If I may, consider delving into the quality of your food, even if it looks healthy. Vegetables sprayed with pesticides, meat from hormone-injected animals, and grains treated with glyphosate can disrupt your hormones. Those are small example but good with vegetables oils, natural flavour, this kind of stuff is so bad for you and you may struggle loosing weight as your body will deal with loads of inflammation. Don’t let me start with how your gut health is important especially if you went to be physically AND mentally healthy…
The North American struggle with obesity, diabetes, and heart diseases is linked to many things including
shady food industry prioritizing profit over health of their customers! They make it hard for us!
But Invest in your well-being, and start researching. Bobby Parish on UA-cam has informative content.
This message is going all over the place but hopefully it helps!

Bbl does not help with weight loss/fat loss. Find a solution that helps you lose actual fat. I would start at the doctors first and do a blood test checking hormones, thyroid, insulin etc. I did the diet thing for over 10 years and my weight went down then back up over and over. Turns out my hormones were messed up. It may not be your fault. I craved sugar always too. Not anymore. So… save yourself the time and struggle. Get medical and nutritional help. Look for solutions outside of invasive surgery first your doc will say the same thing.
