Paradigm - Pikit Solo Section

Recording the first song I've ever written with my first band 13 years ago! What do you think of this section we made?
I learned how to play guitar when I was 12, and in my first month, I stupidly planned to be in a band already. So my family got me a 200$ electric guitar and formed a band with my best friends. We didn't qualify to join our school's battle of the bands that year, but instead of breaking the band up (which is typical), decided to start writing songs and playing gigs outside of our school. Imagine, 12-year-olds playing Coheed covers at bars packed with random drunk people, rooms filled with cigarette smoke and the only ones we knew are our group of friends who never failed to miss any of our shows back then.
Fast forward to our sophomore year, we got to qualify and win our school's battle of the bands, and this is the song that we performed as our composition. It isn't the most complex of stuff and in 2008 what do you expect a bunch of kids would write. Believe it or not, I spammed more notes back then than now, but I bet this is more recording-friendly as I was just mindlessly shredding on a stage back then.
Despite our efforts to quickly improve on our instruments back then, we never really got a decent recording even if we tried several times. So here it is, using modern technology to at least relive those childhood memories. Hopefully, we can get a full mix with vocals going!
