Man, what a fun event to go to! It totally reminds me of DirtyFest where everyone is just chill and friendly. So cool that you got to meet Hollywood and Eddie! That showing of RAD looked really fun! I may need to try and get out there next year! Thanks for sharing! I was looking forward to this video!
Right on Kevin. Yes, it was a blast. We really enjoyed it and already looking forward to it next year. Would be awesome if you could make it. I’m gonna try and figure out a way to get myself to Dirtyfest next year too. I’ve really got the bug right now.
I was at the Bike show Saturday morning at WSU, it was a really cool show. We also had a big skate jam down at Home Ave DIY that afternoon, Dayton has a lot of really cool things going on right now.
Awesome!!! Thanks so much for watching and commenting. Having Mike sign the Hutch was beyond cool. He was so friendly and engaging with everyone. Treated us all like old friends. Wow!
Hey Matt, my name is Matt also. Loved the 70s and 80s Bike. I have went back and bought some I'd the old Bikes during my Childhood. Never knew about this Event. I'm only a couple of hours away. Some really Nice Bikes on your Video.
I remember that movie called "RAD" from the 1980s it was made in Calgary i remember any1 else can remember that movie it was a favorite i had a Magician hot gin a even try to spell the company that made that bike
Absolutely! I have a little bit of it in this video, but we attended a screening of the movie Rad earlier that afternoon with Mike and Eddie, two of the most famous riders from the movie. It was surreal watching it with them and hearing their stories of what the filming was like 🤯
Hey Matt, this is Dennis. We talked for awhile right after Eddie signed your bike. My girlfriend and I had a great time talking with you and your wife! Great meeting you and your wife! Awesome video! Keep up the great work!
Right on!!! Thanks so much ❤️ It was awesome. My wife was riding it and Mike rode right up next there her and was like, “You win!”. I didn’t get that on video. It was really cool!
Man that looked like soo much fun! Im behind on your videos and catching up now. I hope Eddie does Ham Jam this year, its the closest thing to me which is 10 hours away, florida is a huge state and im in the bottom. Cant wait to see part 2 now.
💯 Absolutely!!! You have to see it in person to get the full effect of the pink candy over the chrome. Easily the prettiest bike I’ve ever seen. And Allen built it up with all the premium components. So rad indeed!!! 🤯
Thanks Chris! I can’t wait until next time. I wish the weekend was longer. I totally want to spend more time watching you guys on the flatland floor. So rad!!! 🙌
Right on! Great meeting you too 👊 Yes, getting the bike signed by Hollywood was a highlight, for sure. We started out the trip with that being my bike, but I think we ended the trip with it being her new bike 😂
BTW, if you ever get a chance, look into Ray's indoor bike park in Cleveland. You'll love it and maybe want to take a trip out for it. There's a cool video of some 60 year old looking guys that traveled from Chicago for a weekend biking in Cleveland for it and they absolutely shred.
Thanks and right on Peeps! So much fun visiting with you and Weezy. Stephanie loved visiting with Weezy too. Gotta love the supportive BMX wives!! Hope to see you again soon 👊
Great video and excellent editing skills! This was fun to watch! Just curious if Eddie didn't bring his own bike? Crazy seeing him riding a Haro, I am assuming a nice dude borrowed his bike to him. So cool. Keep the old school BMX stoke alive!
Great video Matt! If im able next year ill have to get down there for the ride and not just Saturday. When i was working near St Louis i did try to find rideouts there and wasnt successful hopefully the scene there will grow. We drive to Detroit every weekend for bikelife rideouts and the are the most fun ive had in a long time.
Awesome!!! What a surreal experience that was. Eddie and the whole Rad Designs 1986 crew were so much fun. Both Eddie and Hollywood made us all feel like we’re old friends. Such great dudes 🙌

Wow, Fiola on a Haro Master…..WOW!!!
Yeah, that was unexpected! He didn’t bring his own bike from California, so it was fun to see him borrow bikes from other people.
@@TheNostalgicNeighborhood I’d flow him my Haro Sport if he needed it.

💯 Absolutely!!!
Does anyone know where to find a schedule for BMX events in SoCal?
I don’t, but I think it would be cool if someone created a calendar to track all the events across the country each year.
How much would I make if I sold my GT long sleeve freestyle jersey, white/blue colored combination, and a pair of Dirt Research gloves, blue colored? Still in good condition. Have it way back in 1989.
Honestly, I have no idea. I’ve never researched any of that. I’d check sold items on eBay or bmxmuseum.com and see if there are any comps. 👍
Are you from St Louis?
Yes!
@TheNostalgicNeighborhood I'm in the Alton IL area
@ Nice, I’m on the Missouri side… but I was born in Alton Memorial Hospital and grew up in Bethalto.
