I’ve been to hundreds of shows over the years going back to 1969. This was one of the best - and what a way to end the show! Great band, wonderful voice by Romany and David Gilmour still has the best guitar tone.
My college cover band did this song in ‘91…it was considered an old classic rock song back then. Can’t believe this guy is still out there playing in arenas. Legend.
That solo could’ve gone on for another five minutes and I wouldn’t have been in any way bored. My friend and I were there on the 5th. What a magnificent clinic in how to play the electric guitar with taste and subtlety.
While David never disappoints with his supreme talent, the performance of Comfortably Numb was always a well orchestrated show, with the backup singers moving and singing together as a captivating ensemble with seductive moves.
Wow, it was 3 hours of total bliss. I was directly opposite side of stage so could not see Polly Sampson taking pics of Romany having a great time. What an awesome family David & Polly have raised. Even their son, who David introduced, was helping to setup the stage ! Once in a lifetime concert ! Big shout out to David's family helping to keep him going ! Amazing !
🎸🎶🎸Absolutely incredible show. Extremely well, put together the pacing, the set list, alot of thought and a lot of rehearsal went into this tour. The band was absolutely perfect. David even said it was the best band he ever had. I was there a little farther to the right of this guy so I didn't have the lighting or Soundsystem in my way a bit better video than this but this gives you a real good idea of what was going on. I've seen everybody and just about everything at this point going way back. This show was a killer ..... and is in my top five of all time. I have to sit down and think who got bumped out of my five. As great a concert as you're ever gonna get start to finish..... The only thing this guy missed on here was David walking off the stage right down there in front of him. There was plenty of lighting. I got it on my video all in all again an excellent night..... Even the bits of video and the light show and David's raging guitar blowout with that fat sound start the second half. Roughly 2 1/2 hours playing really nice stuff from the new album mixed in with Pink Floyd chestnuts and a couple of altered arrangements. Superbly done David. We would expect no less..... Why you're sitting there the whole time you can't believe that you're there and you're hearing all of this and if you're watching the hair stand up on your arms....
He is the GOAT guitarist in my lifetime. I think he comes back. his whole family is part of the journey. Glad i saw him in Rome. We flew all the way from Medellin Colombia to see him. Amazing concert in a spectacular city.
I can die happy now. What an incredible show. I’m so thankful to have been there!
I was there first night. Was unbelievable. He is a friggin legend.

it should actually... I don't know why it was shortened so much this time...

The BEST BEST BEST SHOW 2024 FOREVER ❤❤❤ 1000 THANKS SO MUCH
Listen to this song for 44 years - still same vibes
Thanks for filming this. It’s awesome for a legendary guitarist at 78. Not quite as aggressive as his younger days but still, nobody does it better.
I WAS THERE!!!!!!!!!❤
I was there Sunday night as well, best concert ever

Kent State and Blossom Music Center, 1973.
Then Nov 9 2024....51 years
And that might be the last time. I hope not.
We shall see.... Unfortunately, that's one of the reasons I went Sunday night and had that in the back of my mind as well

I'm a great fan of Gilmour , shame there were no Dive Bombs on the second solo of CNumb
This may be the last ever performance from Gilmour :-(
@@SpackleTab what I said! Very well could be...
Did he tell you?
Won't be. I think there'll be a small toir 2025. He is still saying about next album so.. Time will tell
Is that Guy Pratt on bass? He sounds totally different here if it is him.
Guy Pratt got so effin old i cannot believe that's him
62 is Guy! He's very underrated as a bass player! Good comedian as well seen his show in Edinburgh a few years back! A good guy is Guy 👦 ✌️👍
@@Rogers_Ego He was a baby during the Pulse tour! Love Guy. Time is a thief.
@TheBaggadonuts Was even younger when I first saw him play in Manchester on August the 8th 1988 he had a lot of hair then.😂🤝👍

Srry guys but he can not play the solo as good as he could before :( Each time he makes different mistakes ..I dont know why :(
Maybe the fact that he's now 78 has got something to do with it?
He’s a legend
