@@razorblademask Uh, no? They did the closed box packaging to reduce plastics but the prices still went up and the current output of their products isn’t exactly worth the increase. Even collectors are getting sick of it.

To answer your question, licensing is really the biggest thing. Marvel/Disney licensing is a LOT more expensive for Hasbro than Sega/Nintendo is for Jakks. MLs are also straight up more plastic and paint, bigger boxes, which means physical production and shipping is also more expensive on their end. That said, I do think Jakks has been doing a great job with their $10 figure toys. I hope this line can get even half the amount of figures Sonic and Mario have.
I am extremely envious, because I just managed to get my hands on this figure today and the shoulders on mine will NOT move up and down for anything. I have tried hair dryers, boiling water, and even taken the arms apart and they still will not budge. Poor Werewolf is like the little brother in A Christmas Story and cannot put his arms down.

How much does this figure cost there? I want to buy it on eBay but I can't find it for less than about $100! I understand that there must be a profit, but isn't that an exaggeration?
It may not compete with Hasbro because of the small scale, but for $10 the amount of articulation they included is great. 24 points is more than most Hasbro or McFarlane figures.

Same with mine. Their stuck at a 90 degree

The shoulder articulation below needs to rotate up instead of down. It is now moving a bit one of the shoulders but it is still rock solid.
