I don’t understand why you removed half the pole. Our motorhome is 13.5 ft tall, and with the pole mounted high on the ladder we can get up to 30 ft in the air with our dish. We do this to get above the trees. Pretty much all campgrounds down here in South Florida are in trees, with the main reason being down here if you park in the sun your rig becomes an easy bake oven. There is no place on the ground, or even on a short ground mount pole where you can get a starlink signal. Just sayin.
Great video. Just what I was looking for.
Thank you for this information, I'm going to copy your idea...I think it will be perfect for my need
I've been looking for a gen 3 pole mount video. Thanks!

Agree. This seems like a waste to just get a few feet above the top of the trailer.
The Flagpole Buddy base is 2 inches.
Nice job.
Where did the ladder mounts come from?
They are flag pole buddy brand. You can get it from their website or Amazon.
What is the part number on the Starlink mount / Adapter?

Lightning protection?
Wouldn't it be easier to push the cable through a shorter pole? Hint Hint...
run the cable first, then extend the pole. 😁
