I have a 15 year old Havanese, Lucca, and he's the Love of My Life! He's brought me more happiness, companionship and the only "unconditional love" I've ever experienced in my entire life!!

I have a 13 year old Havanese - Tanner - and this breed is very very special. My friend has his brother - and went on to get three more - a total of four Havanese. They are just so full of love.

That Pekingese is the most adorable thing I've ever seen. It's like a little sasquatch .
It's kinda sad tbh, the poor thing has so much hair on it due to over breeding, a squished face to the point of having problems breathing and tiny legs.
She was my all time favorite girl
I love the Pekingnese types the best, because I grew up with a Pekingnese x Silky terrier and she was so spunky and never had any health problems she lived 13 years.

Gorgeous Havanese. Just loved the flowing coat. The color is so unique. Yorkie is my favorite breed. So beautifully represented.

Ihave a 2yr.old Havanese Maya and I can truly say that she has been the joy of my life.I'm retired so have alot of time to spend with her which she requires because she lives up to the breed standards of wanting constant attention,a very loving little dog!!

You wouldn't think so, but the Havanese is actually a darn good working breed for obedience. They can also be shown in a corded coat ( like a Komondor or Puli).

I have a gorgeous 4 month old havanese, this is my second one, lost my 14 year old a year and a half ago. This breed is so very special, smart, clown like, loving, just the whole package!

I think chest harness is better than neck leash.
This is called "stringing up" a dog... many judges complain about it, especially because it means actual movement can't be assessed, but that doesn't stop some exhibitors from thinking it makes their dog look flashier. As for breathing/pain I wouldn't be terribly concerned, dogs would be gagging and hesitating if there was an issue. The pressure is more under the jaw than on the neck and the dogs don't weigh much.
@@atrudokht That would distract from assessing the balance of the dog, harnesses aren't allowed in stacked photos for that reason

Me too. My shih tzu has a puppy cut. I can't help but feel sorry for the long hair on these dogs. They have a hard time breathing and the massive hair adds to the breathing issues. They are so much happier when they can move around more freely.
@@sarahmichaels2117 Hair does not cause breathing issues, and the only "puppy cut" that exists is specific to poodles.

They’re all beautiful. I have a Cavoodle, half King Charles Cavalier and half toy poodle. The best of both worlds. 🤣

It's so funny how some toy dogs thing they can take on anybody, but then you get big dogs that try to sit in your lap, thinking they're still puppies.
My chihuahua has that attitude problem. She will not stop harassing certain people coming in my home, even their voices anger her in a blink.
It’s so hard to pick a favourite, they are all so beautiful. If I had to pick just one, it would be the King Charles Cavalier Spaniel.

Japanese chin is my life. I have one and love her so much. I like all in the toy group ❤️ small packages huge personality.
The longcoat chihuahua had a very wide front and the smooth had feet that turned in.
The Yorkie was the best! I have a Yorkie so I may be a bit bias... just a bit though!

I own a beautiful Maltese, but I was so happy for the Havanese, I am Cuban and born in Havana so I am also Habanse haha, these dogs are very loyal and protective, love them 😍

I used to have a Havanese named Memo, they stole him while the family was out of town. I currently have a beautiful Yorkie named Greñuda.
I have a Havanese as well..and can't imagine how devastated you were when your baby was stolen. My families dachshund was stolen - and we were beside ourselves when it happened. Never found him either. Karma will take care of these heartless thieves.
I understand the history and usefulness of the Poodle cut but, by Georges, get over it.! Allow once and for all other cuts that don’t ridicule and discriminate that wonderful, affectionate and extremely smart breed.

All of these dog breeds are beautiful in their own right, I don't think I have a problem with dog shows, because I enjoy watching them, but the standards for those dogs with smush faces makes me so uncomfortable, It doesn't look right.

this judge seems so impatient with the handlers that want/need to brush the coat/hair before they move the dogs down and back.
Havanese; not my favorite breed but Bono is exceptional beyond words. Well deserved win. Finally a judge who knew what she's doing. Congrats Bono and Cuba.
I loved them all but if I had to choose it would have to be the Cavalier. 💖🐶💖

You need to your jaws because you are showing your ignorance! That happens to be called the Continental clip. It is a very precise and difficult cut to do and maintain. The poodle, however, is the only breed whose coat can pull that elegant cut off! The laugh is on you now! 🤣
