Which dogs were you rooting for?
Schipperke, of course. Perhaps someday Schips will be shown on the table too.
I was rooting for the Boston Terrier even though they almost never win. As for the finalists, I was hoping the Frenchie would win, but I'm glad the Schipperke won. Better than seeing Poodles win all the time. Nothing against them, but other breeds exist.
Schipperke power!!!
Xolo!
FOX Sports Boston Terrier! Maybe someday one will win Best In Show!!!❌⭕️

i guess colton the schippeke wins
What was the Bichon handler doing? I have never seen a bichon look that unhappy
I thought the same when I saw the way the handler pulls continously the leash.
Right? Almost made him look like he was limping from the pulling...
Exactly
Poor little Donald Duckie. 😢
This is the first time I've seen a schipperke in the show. We had them as I grew up and they are a wonderful family dog
I was so glad to see the Schipperke win this best in show. I miss my little boy so much. His name was Skippy and I loved that little dog so much I called him my little son.
SCHIPPERKE FOR THE WIN!!!!! Lets go Colton! Do our breed proud!
They disqualified him.
Sean Bulloch Too late lol.
NOT
The handler of the Bichon should not be his handler....she was literally yanking him off the ground by his neck 😟
Faye agree
The bichone was kinda limping.. You'll notice it when she wasnt yanking the dog. Poor dog..
Love the Schipperke! I had two, Gypsy and Roselee, and I miss them, terribly. My picture is my Schip looking at a frog!
Absolutely gorgeous looking Standard Poodle, beautiful and compact Frenchie... Beautiful coats on both the Coton and on the Lhasa. The Xolo was also incredible.. good looking dog. I was impressed with pretty much all these dogs!!
Me too! Had a hard time choosing just one winner. While I hate the "poodle cut" on poodles, that really was a beautiful dog. But I'm definitely partial to Frenchies, so was happy he came in 2nd. All wonderful!
@@jekku4688 The Frenchie was the best in the class of "eligible" dogs and based on that he should have been able to compete in the Best in Show class.
Thank you! I love poodles!
I had a keeshond and she was with me for 20 years very protective and intelligent.
Awesome. I bet she was just lovely.
Sargeant stubby was NOT A BOSTON! He was a staffordshire mix!
They are still breeding the Frenchie for a shorter snout after all of the respiratory problems?
hey you should check out the frenchies being bred in the Netherlands,
beautiful

I'm a terrier person BUT that's one fine shar pei!!!
Agreed!!!
Sue Castillo yes bonemouth shar peis are the best.
Yes that shar took my breath away !! Gorgeous, not to mention movement❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😘
A big thank you to Fox Sports for making this available commercial free... !!!
2:15 wasn't stubby a Staffordshire terrier?
That is a stunning Shar pei
15:36 Doge.
Some of these handlers have no business being handlers! Some were yanking them by the necks through the ring the others were picking them up by the neck off the table!
Love the xolo
Fun fact: I'm getting a schipperke soon, and now I'm watching videos of schipperkes
I'm salty that they disqualified the most beautiful looking dog from best in show. It looks like a cute little wolf. Can't believe this.
Btw, Westminster favours Terriers. They have won around half of the best in shows in the history of the event. No joke lol I love watching the show, but the judging is questionable often times.
(My second choice was also the French Bulldog, his ears were adorable)
LMAO I knew a Terrier would win again. Amazing bias 👌👌
Jikook Harling Which one?.,,
Jikook Harling the cutest dog in the show is not what these guys are winning for.
@@beangelica2540 Oh, why excuse me mister pedantic. I meant " the most beautiful" (and I actually did call it beautiful already) in its category, because you know, it is still considered the most beautiful/cute/gorgeous or whatever have you. It was disqualified (from best in show, not from its category) due to the owners knowing the judge, not for its lack of pedigree.
(Which I'm still disappointed in)
@@sunleo6161 The Schipperke
Jikook Harling yes I know it’s disqualified already! You don’t have to be so sassy geez. Non sporting dogs aren’t even my kind of breeds anyways.
Schipperkes RULE!!!!!
schipperke is Best !
“these funny little clowns are a popular companion throughout the world” it’s me, i’m a french bulldog
I Love This !
I've heard it now twice on the broadcast that if your dog is properly constructed, they'll live a long life or last a long time or whatever. That's such a disservice to any of these dog breeds. My beautiful beloved girl, a smooth coated Portuguese Podengo Pequeno, died just two weeks ago at the age of 9. We did everything we could medically and never had a diagnosis after almost 3 years. Luckily, she had MANY more good days then not. There's just no perfect answer to health and longevity, much as we want it for our lovies.
So sorry.
I Love This !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm disappointed that the non-sporting group dog become ineligible to advance to the Best in Show part. How did this happen? And why?
It was just a conflict of interest. The handler and BIS judge of worked together so it wouldn't be fair to show to the judge. It might seem mean but the Westminster has to play by the same rules as all other shows.
How/Why did this even happen? I mean, can't this sort of thing be "screened" in advance - if it's to be an issue?
@@Griwhoolda honestly the dog show world is so small. I know many people showing there and have taken in dogs for people showing in groups. I've only been showing/ being an assistant for a year. It's almost impossible for things like this to not pop up. The handler never thought she would win groups and get to the BIS ring.
@@Griwhoolda Right - who was asleep at the switch in such an important show?
They should have replaced the judge not the dog. It is a dog show, not a judge show.
Keeshond!!!😍😍😍
Shar pei are where it's at!! GOOD GIRL, JOAN!
Nice video btw
I thought Dalmatians were working dogs?
Me too. But I am from UK, the breed group organisation is different here. Crufts has Samoyeds as Herding dogs while Westminster I think has them as Working dogs.
the chow chow dog has the same name as my dog neo
I don’t understand why the skipperke was disqualified? Especially at the last minute while it’s literally in the ring for best in show
what was the reason he was disqualified?
Justin Time aw that sucks😔
Poor bulldog, his skin flap is almost going over his nose. I hope they change the breed standards for them.
Raven Flight yes, these dogs were bred to take down bulls. Do people actually think a dog like that could take down one now!
@@wolfrevenant1489 I think people's reactions to seeing Rudy the bulldog run in agility were very telling. It's really sad that it's surprising to see a dog be able to run and jump for 30 seconds. Obviously some breeds are more inclined towards agility than others, but agility involves basic dog things (running and jumping) that all dogs should be able to do at a basic level.
Please upload the working groups
Kyle Mirasol, the official Westminster channel did upload the Working Group, but THE POOR CANE CORSO GOT THE SHORT END OF THE STICK, as far as airtime went! (Casa Reale’s Skyline Surfer, or “Hudson”.)
3:03 - that was awesome
Some of the handlers seem awfully harsh with the pooches. The Lhasa and Tiberian Terrier are so beautiful.
I love Boston Terriers
21:33 (pants and blows horn) Court is now in session! I’m on trial, But why? Her majesty The Queen Of Hearts, Presiting
Beautiful, beautiful American Eskimo Dog. I have one, but she’d never win a prize, but I love her anyway.💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
This video was published on my birthday XD

OMG!!! I Love Bulldogs.
The 2nd dog at 56 sec the little 🤍 one was running in the air for a sec the lady needs to release the lead a bit the dog should not leave the floor
#JusticeforColton
My son's grade school mascot was a Bul dog, Jackson Bull Dog.
Colton won Best of Breed AGAIN this year! He didn’t win the Group, though. :(
But I love Ciba too!
Edit: CIBA WON BEST IN SHOW! YAY!!!
Frenchie sooo cute and the bulldog🥰
the bichon looks so funny omg
In my mind Colton the Schipperke is the BEST IN SHOW winner for 2019. He beat out the Standard Poodle, the Dalmatian, The Chow, etc. etc. He was the first ever Schip to win BEST IN NON_SPORTING GROUP, which is not even a group, but the left-over breeds which makes it that more difficult. Also, Colton was "EXCUSED" and not "DISQUALIFIED", which is an important distinction. The Terrier did not compete against the Schipperke so we can't say the Terrier beat him can we. Never underestimate a Schipperke - Best dog of Westminster 2019!
the schipperke like colton wins at westminster dog show
Norwegian lundehundcoton de tulearkeeshond
Saying English bulldog and beautiful in one sentence is a paradoxon.
Chow chow or share pei
I'm looking for a therapy dog most representative of the Fainting Goat, like me.
Doberman
Rigged , disqualified. sweet dogs .
Is there something wrong with the Bichon Frise he looks like he hurt his leg he is limping why is the handler making him go through this show that really pisses me off poor Bichon
Half of thoughs dogs should be hunting and playing not prancing around plus when you're brushing them or what ever you do it looks like your chokeing the poor dogs
boycott these shows for keeping breeding pugs .bulldogs ,boston terriers, these genetically altered monstrousities how can you do this to a dog breed? all these health problems that were bred into them a hundred years ago and you continue doing it to win a dog show
You are uninformed and thoroughly biased. Please try not to embarrass yourself further in future posts.
@@coveyssteve the only one is mis informed is you anybody that breeds a nimal to look cute and not for health should be shot
