Actors and actresses take years to create their craft, besides register with the Actor’s Guild. It’s nice for them to actually do something constructive that raises money outside of a movie set. This is what it means to be a Star: - after you take your time crafting your body of works from all the directors and writers, then you get to do this; - Raise money for good causes and get asked to wear high fashion in Person.

ABC is showing an hour long "met gala" as its "news" show under a headline that says "ABC News Prime: Israel-Hamas cease-fire talks; Major weather threat in U.S.; Intv. with Nathan Wade", and it has 10,000 views and loads of thumbs up?
My two cents. They could care less about the charity but don't want to miss a chance to showcase themselves, and how grand they are. They are all narcissists and it's all about them. In addition there are more worthwhile charities to contribute to.
It is telling us this is all a play on a stage, which it is. Merrily, merrily, merrily life is but a dream. A bumpy road for sure and temporary. We know their role, but our role is Evolution of our Soul through trials and more trials.
Those who don't follow the theme of the Met Gala should be sent home. I don't care how big of a celebrity they are and how much clout and money they have. If you don't understand the assignment, stay home.
A fundraiser for the MET fashion exhibit, not a worthy cause in my opinion. Celebrities dressed up to impress each other. They look cartoonish, vain, ridiculous and removed from reality. They can be lavish and tacky and spend gobs of money because the average man funds them, you buy their products, their logos, their labels, their movies etc etc. Wondering what the world might look like if you didn't. 😉
I think these people spend the money on helping homeless, drug programs and CPS..all the billions spent..this is ridiculous. What if these people went to the Goodwill and made something fabulous..You have your delusional wealthy and suffering poor...its so very sad.
