This will be very relevant to Ghana's new Teacher Education reforms. The concept of mentoring teacher trainees was just recently introduced and as was evident during the national dialogue on the the state of the implementation of the reforms, a lot needs to be done to help mentors understand their role and become effective mentors to the teacher trainees.
