Wow! You really get to the essence of these songs and bring out their beauty in ways I often miss when hearing the original versions. I almost never enjoy covers but this is something different.

Larry, I think you should keep both. They are equally fantastic! This brings me back to a more innocent time in 1976 when I was in the 7th grade and I bought the Children of the World lp because of this song!!

Okay, so this is a tough choice. I am doing this without looking at any of the other comments so it's completely unbiased. I like the scenery and the red guitar (my fave) and the wildlife singing along with you in #1. I like the quality of your voice and the intimate setting (the kitchen..ya LOL ) of the second one plus the added feeling you put into your interp. So l'm a bit back and forth on this one cause l like them both. But l guess in the end if l HAD to choose l would pick #2.
This one. It works better as an intimate ballad. A small cut around 300-400hz would take some of the mud out of the guitar and let your voice shine through.
It's kinda like making you choose between children, which is your favorite! I voye for Love so right 2 just because it sounds more like the original. Love them both though, you understand? lol
I chose this version although both are good. The guitar on the other one sort of drowns out your voice a bit in places but this one is great for that matter..
