      Now what if she’s bisexual and has a pansexual friend ? I can tell my girl is easily influenced by her pansexual friend because pansexuals have more sexual freedoms I guess but here’s the disconnect hows do you as a man deal with a bisexual woman who sounds like she probably wants to indulge in pansexual activities to either suffice her sexual desire or to find herself because after our first conversation I’ve convinced myself she’s either a lil confused about her own bisexuality or she wants to be bisexual an do pansexual activitys with other couples… now I am wrong for thinking this could be a potential waste of time ??? That’s the biggest question lol someone hear me out

      No offense but I don't thin I could ever marry someone who thinks that of me. I've already got a problem with my current boyfriend thinking I'll be unfaithful to him because I've dated a lot of people and him being intimidated by my bisexuality. I want to believe he will grow out of this childish nonsense but if he doesn't....we're gonna have a lot to talk about when he gets down on one knee.

    The disconnect is: how bi women claim to be Bi while dating a straight man. It makes men feel like you're claiming to have thoughts and fantasies about other people while dating-- as if it is somehow different because it's a woman. OR that the bi woman has future plans of being with a woman-- which destroys stability/trust in a relationship.

    • @lanaanghel8771
      @lanaanghel8771 3 роки тому +1

      Couldn't you argue the same thing about other sexualities? If a straight woman is with a man, does her attraction to men as a whole mean that she'll cheat or make future plans with other men in mind? Not necessarily! It's the same thing with bisexuality and pansexuality. Just because you're capable of being attracted to one or more gender, that doesn't mean that you'll throw away your relationship with your partner or think of other options with other people. People do cheat, but that's just based on who you are as a person, not your sexuality.

      The morons who think that way probably don’t realise that about 96% of people are straight and straight relationships are way easier to find. Basic statistics tells us that a bisexual who likes men and women equally will have a 96% chance of being in a straight relationship and a 4% chance of being gay.

    As a bi person I figured that it's way easier to date another bi person no matter the gender cause they actually understand you.. In my experience with both lesbians and straight man, they would always feel weird about me hanging out with literally anyone as if I was going to cheat on them and even felt insecure themselves about whether I have a preference, which I don't.. It's hard to find people that actually get you;(

    As a bi dude, I think if you are in a committed relationship, you are either gay, straight, or polygamous. How can you be in a monogamous relationship, and constantly talk about your attraction, and even act on your attraction to a sex different than your partner. That’s just cheating. I’ve dated bisexual girls and it sucks when your partner is constantly talking about the same sex and even going as far as to cheat on you. That’s just how I look at it. I think bisexual is just a label and we should stop putting such strict labels on things. Most bisexual people go back and forth from dating guys and girls and in different stages in life.

  • @Casutama

    I am a pan woman who has only ever been in one relationship (and only kissed and had sex etc with that one person), namely with my current partner and a cis guy. What I get a lot is not so much that I'm "straight again", but more that some people from the community tell me that I don't really count as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community because I never had to deal with most of the unpleasantness that would have followed had I ever dated a woman.

    • @schmandkacke
      @schmandkacke 3 роки тому +4

      Soo...I know this is a little weird...but I'm in a kinda similar but also completely different situation...
      I'm a 21 year old bisexual girl in a longterm, loving hetero relationship. Because we started dating so early, I couldn't experiment as much as I probably should have...cause now I'm in this beautiful relationship, but also finally want to experience flirting with girls or sth. Like this...
      I feel like I'm bad representation for every bi person, cause the struggle is to show people, that bi people can do that and don't need necessarily experiences with the same sex.
      But I feel like...I want to have these...
      Did u ever struggle with this? Because u said u only ever kissed this one boy. Is this something u had never any doubt or worries about...?

    • @lanaanghel8771
      @lanaanghel8771 3 роки тому +1

      Something similar happened to me. I've only ever dated one person, who happened to be a cis male. We broke up a while ago but I haven't really dated anyone, man or woman. Still, I get told by my family (I'm still in high school so living at home) that I'm not actually bi because I've never been with a woman before. I don't really feel attracted to anyone I know at the moment, but most of the people I know that I've had feelings for are guys, even though I like women and other genders too. Honestly, it's really confusing, but you're completely valid and a member of the LGBTQIA+ community no matter what.
      There really is this constant pressure for bi/pan people to be with every gender they're attracted to because they're bi/pan. I think Lissy mentioned this as well, and it can be a burden sometimes. Our attraction to different genders isn't exactly split evenly, we have preferences and it's also just about who we happen to like as a person. This narrative that people who are attracted to multiple genders have to like all of them at the same time, in the same way, is so tiring and honestly degrading.

I've been out before having my current boyfriend and crushes on girls and also people of multiple genders before him. My boyfriend before has been my best friend and made it easier for both of us because he knew from the very start. Still it isn't easy to be pan and in this relationship no matter how much I'm in love with him. Sometimes I also think he has problems himself talking to some rude classmates that won't accept the situation we are in. It's very hard for both of us and I just hope people will realise we are a couple as every other one exept for the fact that I'm a queer woman in a heterosexual relationship. Thanks for putting it out there. I'm sure it will help people in these situations a lot.

      @sallyannekolar9388 first off, this comment is really, really old and we are no longer dating but I can still answer this: being pansexual means I am attracted to people regardless of gender. I fall in love with them because of the person they are, no their gender. So, I did with my then bf and I did with other partners, male, female and nonbinary later on. The comment itself isn't about me being in a seemingly straight relationship but about how people told me that I was straight because I dated a man. I also got told I was lesbian when I dated woman, so it works both ways. It is about how people tell you you aren't your own sexuality just because you currently date one gender. I was still pan when I dated him and I also would've been if he would've been a girl

      just because someone is bisexual doesn't mean you are at higher risk of them "falling" for someone else. even a straight person can. so get that stereotype out of your mind and hopefully that'll ease you!

    I am a straight married male who has always preferred bisexual women. I am also a staunch polygyny advocate and I vehemently defend openness to committing to multiple women if they desire one another to be in a triad relationship. I never understood why if multiple partners wanted to be in a committed union society frowns on such a union.
