Shoutout to all the older siblings out there who helped forge a path in life for their younger siblings, and worked hard to guide them. Even if they're too young to recognize it yet, one day they'll be able to look back and appreciate your protection and sacrifices. Shoutout to all the middle siblings who had to take being oft overlooked in stride, saddled with following in your older sibs footsteps AND helping to guide the younger one(s). The mediator role often falls on you, for better or for worse. When you're all grown and separated, they'll remember things you did/things about you that you never thought they noticed, all with love. Shoutout to all the youngest siblings, keeping their elders on their toes while bringing new energy to the family dynamic. You're not an after thought, you're the culmination of many years working together and finding the best ways forward so you could push boundaries your older siblings never had the opportunity to consider. Learn from them, while making use of the freedom granted. (Obviously I'm aware these words don't apply to every family, read with a pinch of salt or whatever. Also for any curious, I'm the youngest of 5 but spent a good majority of my childhood living like an only child as the next oldest (other than my late brother a year older) is nine entire years my elder. Now we're all grown up but still talk and visit often, despite going through ups and downs and even hating each other sometimes as kids.)
As the oldest and a girl with my bro being the youngest i always felt everything was my responsibility including tiding up after myself (cause girls clean house boys don't) And my bro got away with stuff and wasn't held to the same standard of having to clean that i was.
That's funny - my parents made all three of us, youngest to oldest, boy and girls, clean up the house. But we're an Asian family so maybe things are different
My husband is always getting on to our oldest of 4 sons to clean up after himself and his brothers. He was the oldest so he’s very much perpetuating what happened to him. I don’t think it’s about gender, it really is just because you were the oldest child.
Honestly, my brother was fine with being recruited by me as long as I divided chores somewhat evenly so we could avoid our parents' rages. Even if I was the main target, younger bro knew it could spillover to him and actually gave a shit about me too. My bro and I are on good terms. I think he knows hes extra spoiled though.
That's because when we're not being treated like indentured servants by our parents, we're just as ignored. I'd have rather just been ignored. It's great being the first, but once you're not the only, we're the parent's punching bag for every bad decision they've ever made. Alcoholic step-dad, the alcohol was my fault. I had to move back home and he went right back to leaving Cinderella chore notes. Both the middle and youngest were doted on. So, add in a divorce and the middle child ends up being the golden one.
Only reason the youngest got away with things in our family was because he had the biggest anger problem. Would throw a gallon of bleach at you if he had it in his hand. So we would leave it be till he calmed down. But all of us were treated the same, he eventually got more control over his emotions then either of us other siblings in the end
I like how the middle child is so forgotten, he's the only one without an actual name, he's just "Jimmy's friend" Reminds me of the time when I visited my parents just yesterday and my mom kept calling me by my younger sister's name
I always got smug when my mom accidentally snapped at me with my little brother's name. To me, it was proof that he misbehaved more and she was more used to yelling his name
as the oldest child, the confusion and looking around while being yelled at as a reaction is 300% true.

My go-to response when my parents would complain about my existence is "shouldnt'a bought me then"
as a middle child this is too brutal
Where are all my middle ones😂😂😂 pls come register here for a meeting 😂😂😂
Lol😂😂😂
Me
If I looked “too bored” my dad would start writing me a list of chores.
Me : "🤣😉👍" & You/Ryan = 'Spot On'❣️
"breathing the air I pay for" really got me 😂
Me too I was like " what?
In India :-
Oldest Child comes from mutual agreement
Middle child comes cause the mood was nice
Youngest child because of not pulling out in time
😂
😂
Tune bhi woh stand up comedy wali video dekhi hai
and the next seven?
@@erssoj3759 because of not pulling out in time
Us oldest catch hell😭😭😭 The youngest be hell 😂😂😂
Not always true. I’m number 5 of 5. The first four were hellions. When I came along 12 years after number four., I paid for all of their screw ups. I was practically under lock and key until I graduated from high school. Then I moved as far away as I could.
As the oldest child, I can confirm this is no short. This is the truth. This is a true story documentary
Has an oldest child, I confirm that this is completely accurate!!😢😢
As the youngest I can confirm this is true. They would get in trouble for things I did. 😂
lol
Well I'm a 3rd child and it's nooothing like that.
I’m engaged to a 3rd child (by 6 minutes because twins), and all she gets is being compared to her brothers and just sort of looked over.
I Concur 😂lol I was the youngest child for 7 years… then my brother the “New” youngest came along. lol it’s all true he was the oops baby but the best oops ever ❤ he gets it all now though lol
@@AdmiringOurCreator I am the oops baby and also the last, lol.
As a middle child AND only girl…tis true 😔😂
It's like we middle child don't exist
I do like that the dad says that he's Jimmy's friend, indicating that Middle child and Youngest Child are close. As a middle child who is really close with my youngest sibling, I approve of it!
Middle child has separate fan base 😂
As an old man, who was the oldest child, THIS is on par with the roles placed on me & my siblings. Damn!
As the oldest and a girl with my bro being the youngest i always felt everything was my responsibility including tiding up after myself (cause girls clean house boys don't)
And my bro got away with stuff and wasn't held to the same standard of having to clean that i was.
SAME FOR ME!! What you said hit home wayyy to much.. lol
That's funny - my parents made all three of us, youngest to oldest, boy and girls, clean up the house.
But we're an Asian family so maybe things are different
@@lam7499 I'm UK.so maybe?
There are always exceptions.
Bro actually broke glasses for this vid 💀
As the eldest, I felt this.
The start of a relatable funny guy.
Just finished binge watching all of your shorts and now I'm sad. I need a lot more
Same.
don't binge....it's lazy.
As the baby, this is VERY accurate.
As the “middle child,” this was insanely accurate.
To all the oldest child, sending you guys and girls love & hugs. I’m the middle child by the way so i understand all sides ❤
The dad was quite disappointed, as you can see in his expression
But if he got mad at the youngest child, the mother would be angry
Omg I'm such a big fan of ur fnaf content
As a mother of 3, I can say you are so right.
The middle one was personal 😂
Only reason the youngest got away with things in our family was because he had the biggest anger problem. Would throw a gallon of bleach at you if he had it in his hand.
So we would leave it be till he calmed down. But all of us were treated the same, he eventually got more control over his emotions then either of us other siblings in the end
As the oldest, my mom always wonders why I don't visit or talk to her much... that's why
I’m the middle child and I felt that
I like how the middle child is so forgotten, he's the only one without an actual name, he's just "Jimmy's friend"
Reminds me of the time when I visited my parents just yesterday and my mom kept calling me by my younger sister's name
I always got smug when my mom accidentally snapped at me with my little brother's name. To me, it was proof that he misbehaved more and she was more used to yelling his name
Ryan”Don’t worry Jimmy, we all make mistakes”.
Me:Literally…
"We all make mistakes" that was cold af
as the youngest, i have never been so offended by something i think is 100% correct
