Not only did they make great songs, but were known for that very cool choreography
Love the Temptations music. This is part of the Motown era & they had a lot of hits in the 60's - 80's such as "My Girl", "I Wish It Would Rain", "Just My Imagination (Running Away with Me)", "Papa Was A Rollin' Stone", "I Can't Get Next To You", "Treat Her Like A Lady" etc. They were known for their harmonies, choreography & dress style.
Amazing artists, and yes please react to Papa Was A Rolling Stone!
I want to hear a reaction to “Ball of Confusion”, but all of your suggestions are awesome too!
Thank you so much for reacting to the fabulous Temptations. They were the nucleus of Motown. They had it all--good looks, talent, the best choreography and unbelievably great songs. They always looked so classy. And don’t forget The Temptation Walk. So many great songs to react to, Papa Was A Rolling Stone, Just My Imagination, My Girl, I Wish It Would Rain, etc etc 👏👏🥰
The Temptations are a national treasure. They are up there with Otis Redding!
1966 I'm in the 6th grade listening to the radio in the barn, songs like these come on 🎵 Temptations, 4 Tops, the young Stevie Wonder, The Jackson 5, Diana Ross and the Supremes, the list goes on Motowns best.🎶 Hitsville USA on N.Grand River home of Motown only mile's away from the farm I grew up on north of Detroit, CKLW on the radio it was pure bliss 😂 More hits from the greats please 😊Peace✌️ and Love❤️ Gary😊 👀 I see your groovin' with your Kitty 😺
I love the Temptations, now my favoriye is I wish it would rain!! Its perfection.
Motown was absolutely fire. I grew up in the late 70s and 80s, so 60s was before my time, and it was STILL a staple on the radio in between the modern hits at the time.
BALL OF CONFUSION will blow your mind and get you thinking
Motown forever! This was the first group I ever saw live!! Best evening EVER 🩷🩷
Man, I can't help myself livin you kids gettin back to yo roots in music.
Next must "Papa was a rolling stone"
Great music.. done.. Great music
The #1 Motown male group. The Supremes were their female counterpart. Next on the list: "Papa Was A Rolling Stone", " I Wish It Would Rain" , "My Girl", " Cloud Nine". This is the music of my high school and college yesrs. Back then I much preferred this to The Rolling Stones and groups like that.. .
Sleepin on the door step a dat chick was crazy to us back then too, youngster. That's what made the song so outrageous every one of my father's friends would just look at each other, like you did when you first heard it. Remember he said: "I heard a cryin man was half a man, with no sense of pride", but if he had to cry to keep her, he didn't mind weepin if it would keep her by his side. Dude was simpin big time, bro😂😂😂😂
I adore the Temptations so so much. You should also try Just My Imagination!
Best music ever🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 i was 10 dancing around house
A cat bath lasts longer than a Motown song in the 60s 😂
RANDOM QUESTION: what's your kittercat 's name?
As for the Temptations...they were great. Motown had a MASSIVE influence on music for sure!!
I grew up with this music. Soul music was the soundtrack of my youth!

Looks like mine.
I didn’t know I could crush on Shon even MORE!! 🥰
Check out “Ball of Confusion” for a different and much harder vibe by the Temptations, speaking to the state of the world at the time. I remember loving that song as a boy in the 60’s and now it’s message hasn’t changed much at all.
Hi Shon, I'm a 66 year old musician who's been in music since I was 15 but I may be jaded but music from 1920s through the 2000s is the best😎
“ papa was rolling stone
One of the coolest groups of all time!
Ball of Confusion will blow your mind

Reel in’ In the Years version of Peggy Lee singing “Fever”! If you need a genre, she was considered a torch singer!! Talk about expanding your horizons!!! Enjoy! (1961)
Temptations, my best soul group. They had it all. Even one of their last albums, A Song for You. Had , Shakey Ground, Happy People and the song, A Song for You which was a beautiful song. Check out a Song for You.
🇬🇧 I love Motown music, its always been my favourite genre. It really warms my heart that you enjoy this music too. I have a suggestion....The Four Tops "When She Was My Girl" 'live' 1981. You're gonna love it. ❤ 🎼🔥🎵💽💃🕺
When 1970 rolled around, the Temptations were right there with Psychedelic Shack.
I’m a rock and roller from way back, but when I was growing up in the 60s and 70s my rock stations (WLS and WCFL from Chicago) played Motown groups like the Temptations as well. I never bought any Motown records growing up but later in my adulthood I came to realize how much I liked that music and just how nostalgic it is to me. Love it
🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Another oldies that you gonna love is

A dancer named Cholly Atkins was the genius behind a lot of early Motown’s choreography. Read up on him here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cholly_Atkins Great American artist!
Motown was like a finishing school in a lot of ways. The staff took a lot of very rough young street-type talents, polished them up and made them gleam.
I love The Temptations. Great vocals and movers. These are songs that will play keep playing later in your head. I remember this song in soundrack of The Big Chill.
You can't go wrong with Temptations they are one of my favorite groups and David Ruffin could sing really good
Twisted Sister WE'RE NOT GONNA TAKE IT!! The Vid Is Epic!!

When you have an opportunity, you should really check out the movie, The Temptations that came out in the late 90s. The actors did a phenomenal job and the entire movie is extremely entertaining. I think you’ll really enjoy it!

Love the song and The Temptations, but just for the record, them singing it doesn't mean any one of them would actually do it😁 just a great beat and a sweet song for the ladies

Such a great group! Shout out to the choreographer, Cholly Atkins, "Between 1953 and 1994 he choreographed, directed, and staged acts for countless singing artists, including the Cadillacs, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Gladys Knight and the Pips, The Moonglows, O'Jays, Smokey Robinson and the Mriacles, the Shrelles, Supremes, and Temptations". Love your kitty!
One of the best oldie’s, a favorite of mine. Brought back the memory of my husband sleeping outside my door one time lol.
Those dudes got it goin' on. They got the moves to the max.
And love seeing your beautiful cat enjoying the window.
