    Man, that's awesome! I, on the other hand, almost got crazy on the third day. The important thing is to keep going.

      One day at a time, and if that's too much to think about, one hour at a time. You gotta fill your time with something else though, or else the idle mind begins to wander. All the best!

      That's it! Have things in your life that are worth more than drinking. They take time to build up but after a while, seems like an easy decision to say no to the drink. Thanks for the comment man.

    Takes guts to open up like this, well done.. on a side note I heard somewhere that glutamine amino acid supplement helps with cravings...

      I think what's helped me the most is slowly but surely dropping the stubborn belly fat off, looking better in the mirror, and being consistent in other areas of my life.. that'll make you think twice about picking up that donut!

    It will get better! It has its ups and downs, but keep going! If you slip up once or twice, no big deal, try again it doesn't matter at least you are trying and giving your body a break from the poison. Best of luck on your journey! 🙌🏻

    This resonated with me, maybe it will help you a little as well. I will listen to my higher self and try to do things that my future self with will grateful for. I say this when I want to say to hell with it all and drink.

    Mate. Our stories sound very similar with regards alcohol, porn, antabuse etc. I Also tried naltrexone, AA and detox. Personally, the best I found was AA and giving up porn too.

      Hey thanks for coming through and sharing. AA is good, I've been to a couple of meetings, I enjoy hearing peoples stories, but I haven't been to a meeting this time around. I'm ok without it for now.

    Caffeine doesn't help with anxiety , try coco or green tea .

      @itsoktotalk  6 місяців тому

      Not so sure about kava, never tried it actually. But I haven't given up caffiene yet. I was going to try, but have forgotten about that for now. One thing at a time :)
