    Rieju is the old GasGas. They bought all the inventory, tooling, factory. KTM just wanted the name

    The 3 Austrian brands have came a long way, but still need an entry-level price point. Especially for the Gas Gas.

      At the moment in New Zealand,you can get a brand new old stock 2022 KXF450 (0 hours) for $9995
      Thats a deal. New Zealand ebay is called trademe

      yes for gasgas, most definately not for KTM or husky. (i’d enjoy a nicer price myself i’m not that dumb) but i gotta say with the parts stock on KTMs and Husky’s there’s absolutely no reason for the brand to charge entry lvl prices

      GasGas sucks now. Braketec is trash and the base model wheels are crap too. KTM is the better buy now, they cheaped out on the components and raised the price with GG.

    I have a 2021 gasgas and it is the shit. I just got a chance to ride the 2024.5 ktm450 and it's phenomenal, way closer to the flex of the old frame. 140 hours on mine now, one top end at 100 and it's still going strong 💪

    Grabbed a year end sale 23’ MC 450 for $8k out the door. So glad I did, especially as a “novice” rider; the softer frame and what not is a help. Also it’s mostly trail ridden here in AZ, occasional track days, and will be at the Dunes next year. For AZ rocky trails, the softer feel is nice. Still need to figure something out with my rear suspension tho, I’m 6’2” 180(without gear), and feel like I need a spring change.
    Steal of a price and it was before we “knew” how the new frames would be.

  • @Papparratzi
    @Papparratzi 7 місяців тому

    Surprise surprise, this short packed some great insight that I’d guess many pros aren’t aware of.
    These frames are a mystery to me. First time that I heard that the KTM brands weren’t on the same frames for a period and how each bike had a different feel.

    The new chassis old chassis thing is ridiculous. I put 120 hours on a 18 husky 450, then 50 hours on a 22 gas gas 250, and now a 23 250sxf and it’s the best motocross bike I’ve ever rode. Imagine being so good.... so sharp that the differences between the bikes are huge and glaring. Like just totally different tools. I can't tell as much on dirt bikes model year to model year... but I know that feeling from another sport I was professional at. And yeah. I was aware 99% people wouldn't get any convo I would have about the difference in two similar models... but that's why these guys get so excited when they get to talk to someone else who does care and understand the difference. This isn't a sales video. This is a video for truly nerdy individuals and racers that are heavily indentured riders
