You are falling down on your game 705, I'd expect you to make some comment like "the flubbing in the octave passage represents a cultural critique aimed against the peddling of mindless virtuosity with a bright packaged sheen. Trifonov here is finishing the critique Liszt began with this serious piece against the culture of piano prostitution began, ironically enough, by Liszt himself."
Liszt I’m not sure, but my guess is that this sonata is the equivalent of an Iron Man Marathon. In Chopin’s Etudes, they were all separated and with its pretty much one technique throughout the whole Etude. This sonata is more difficult, longer, and with more techniques
@Gottschalk was my uncle im well aware of the fierce demands, fiy Liszt sonate is in my active repertoire. 25/6 is 2min that may take 200 hours to learn, and although its 6 years ago i suppose i was deceived by the story of Trifonov learning the whole op 25 in two weeks
Yet another performance of the Liszt sonata from a young pianist yet to possess the experience and understanding musically to make it special or 'right'. Danil indulges in some of his signature colorist effects that blur sharper outlines, and lingers over-dramatically in some of the slower parts (I.e. the opening). But this wonderful and talented young man has plenty of time to improve. My hope is he does lose himself in too much musical 'chiaroscuro' and become as eccentric as Pogorelich has.
Post your own version and let's compare. Oh wait...you don't have one because you can't play well enough or at all, because you spend your time on pointlessness. I hear you.
Ah, 705 got into the pep pills at the home again...can you imagine the pompous "inanities" he must utter to others when they are trapped in the TV room with him? Heavan help them if he ever finds the Viagra...
I need merely only often adapt your trolls, with some editing for veracity sake...why bother with more? And, I would really use the word 'pitiable' to describe yourself (racist etc. the rest of YT can see). The only thing "pathetic" about you are your posts...
Longer than it took for me to turn off the Triffy's struggling efforts with this-and his sort of poor cinematic approach to it, talented as he is; Disney watch out.. Of course...boredom sets in with your posts the moment I see them...the endlessly same ol' pretentious, pseudo-intellectual fraudulence and crackerjack musical bias and Yuja bigotry masquerading as real acumen... "Rage, rage,,,"
This piece is superb. It makes the performer grow on it.
¡Genial interpretación, bravo, Daniil!
Divine.
Very Trifonoviskt played.
Brilliantly!

Such a difficult work to bring off convincingly - after listening to Horowitz and Argerich. most people would give up.

ダ二-ル。トリフオノフノリストの「ロ短調ソナタ」かなり乾燥した演奏とある種の諦観を感じる。とにかく斬新な演奏と。言える。R,ベルマンと聞き比べてみたい。
Is this really Trifonov???? why does he struggle so much... he played all Chopin etudes wonderfully
Tonto!

These comments are nothing but pseudo-intellectual posturing. The writers should be ashamed!

Очень неопрятно. Особенно педаль.
