Kinda strange that representative of the sin theologians consider the rootcause of all other sins is actually the most decent dude out of them all, minus some extreme simping but I guess horniness adds onto his strength.
My man Escanor saw the writing on the wall and said "You say I'm a groomer because I like Merlin? Who decided that?" and let himself have the only meaningful death in the series.
The moment Merlin's disguise was revealed, when she said she was going to go back to the adult appearance, Escanor said something along the lines of "but why not stay that way" and I was like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WHYYYYYY
@@funnyzoruaThink about the symbolism of the entire show. Why are the Sins the heroes and the Commandments villains? It quickly becomes obvious why it fails as miserably as it does. I am sure someone who knows the show better can arrange other glaring examples throughout
In fact, a man who has committed suicide so many times over 3 millennia and who just a few hours ago saw his wife die and could not even defend her. That outburst of emotions is quite justifiable
To be entirely fair, after three thousand years of them ending up together every single time without fail (aside from the one time when she got her memories back as a toddler and immediately died in a fire), a bit of pattern recognition is bound to develop. Its not ideal behavior for him to start the fondling and teasing before she's fallen for him this time around; but I feel like Meliodas's lechery is less egregious than most "perverted lech trope" characters in anime by virtue of him at least knowing in advance that its what she likes.
I mean, I guess some people don't remember the story, but at first Meliodas DIDN'T assume all Elizabeths loved him like the original. It wasn't until one of them (after regaining her memories from all previous lives) actually told him her feelings never changed no matter how many times she was reborn, that he started believing it. But I guess making pedo jokes and regurgitating memes is funnier.
There is NO REASON Elaine needed to come back to life.. No reason. Ban would have been better off single. Made such a cool character a lolicon. 😭 as soon as she was resurrected I tapped out!!
I honestly think it would’ve been far more interesting if she actually stayed dead, considering the amount of times she cheats death in the show. But, if they needed to bring her back in season two, which I did think was interesting, then they should’ve killed her off again during the scene where Ban snaps Melascula’s neck. There was no reason for her to keep coming back
I do agree that Elaine should've remained dead...but how would that have changed anything concerning Ban? It was always clear he was in love with her. Even if she stayed dead, that wouldn't make Ban's..."tastes" any different.
He was wrapping up the story and realised “Oh shit this character that’s a part of the main cast has zero story let’s throw something together” and we get that horrific ending
The moment they put numbers to define the strength of the characters was where it started to fall, Escanor was able to carry Nanatsu on his back for a while, but not even a good character can perform miracles.
really? just because of that? and heck that only lasts till like for 1 to 1 and half seasons, and as with everything other thing that uses a scouter that numbers don't mean much after a while.
@@10tailedbijuu Numbers lasted a long time in Nanatsu, I remember I followed it weekly and stopped when Ban returned from hell with Meliodas after facing the demon king, I couldn't bear to read that anymore, from the moment they put numbers it means that the biggest always wins.
Dragon Ball specifically used the scouter numbers in the beginning to show that those numbers *don't matter.* Kai-O-Ken, Super saiyan, transformations or just hiding your ki showed that the raw number shown was useless, and the frieza forces were crippled because of their reliance on scouters and numbers. One Piece used Douriki in one chapter to measure some CP9 agent's strengths, and even there it was used for 2-3 jokes and to make the point that the creativity and mastery of powers was more important than strength. If a show uses numbers as a serious measure, you know it'll go badly simply because numbers immediately constrict.
One thing people need to realize is that successful shows and manags inspired by Dragon Ball are successful DESPITE being inspired by Dragon Ball. Dragon Ball basically created so many problems in anime/manga industry.
Escanor's debut was fucking awesome He attempted to save the life of 2 of his old pals by taking a 1v1 game against Galand, the Truth Commandment: they would take turns attacking and the oponent had to tank it. He was so weak that a playful slap from Galand made him pass out A while later, when daytime arrived, Galand tried taking a golden battle axe from the ground, but wasnt able to. Escanor, now growing into a massively muscular form, explain that the weapon was made for him or something: the sin of pride. They both laugh a bit till Escanor bitchslaps Galand into oblivion. Galand gets up and attack on his turn. Nothing. Escanor takes zero damage. Too bad that now its Escanor's time to attack, but Galand shrinks back in fear and run alway, but ultimately dies to his own curse: his truth was broken, so he turned into a stone statue You cant possibly create a character cooler than this
It felt as if in dragon ball we had one of Goku's epic battles and then the shows tells you Krillin is and always has been the protagonist, Goku is just a sidekick at best
@@googleisevil8958 the context makes it even cooler because he is up against a mandament that if you have negative feelings towards him you get paralized, but Escanor was the sole one to stand up and fight
That's the good way of doing it. They ruined Ban quite a bit shortly after, and Escanor's story doesn't have a satisfying conclusion for whatever reason.
My biggest problem with this anime/manga was the power creep and the ''I am the ancient evil after the ancient evil after the master plan of the real evil behind of the real evil puppet-master''. Real problem in most shounen nowdays, take a f'n villain, make him decent and stop making him the intro for 5 more evil guys.
Yeah the jump from Season 1 to 2 was the worst. Hendrickson was supposed to be the main bad guy, even defeating Dreyfus, but as it turns out Dreyfus was a freaking member of the 10 Commandments? Bullshit. Not only would Dreyfus DEFINETELY be in charge, but he would easily beat up everyone in Liones. EASILY. One swipe and a chunk of the city is probably gone. Not even Meliodas could fight him. Gowther and Merlin would have to step in. Season 2 had the best villains tho. The Commandments were great. Season 3 started to introduce more issues tho. They brought in Chandler and Cusack because Zeldris was alone, and Estarossa was healing. Melascula also got defeated, and Galand, Fraudrin, and Grayroad were taken out last season. Drole, Gloxinia, Derieri, and Monspeet also abandoned the cause completely. It just kinda leaves me like... Damn. The 10 Commandments fell apart in just a few episodes. 4 of them got their ass kicked, 4 of them defected, and out of the 2 remaining, 1 of them had an identity crisis. I like the character development for the Commandments, but it was a badass but very fragile team. By the time Elizabeth and the rest of the Sins got stronger and the Archangels joined them, the 10 Commandments were basically nothing. Edit: And it also had the added effect of making the Archangels look weak too. In the flashback arc, Derieri and Monspeet folded 3 of them by themselves. In the final battle, Estarossa killed 2 of them by himself, and Ludociel was getting dogged by Zeldris and Cusack. The Commandments having 10 members makes them the largest team, but it makes the good guys look weak when it only takes a few of them to dog the 4 Archangels. Not a big criticism tho, since I don't really care for the Archangels.
Damn, you're killing it Lunar. Honestly when I first saw the thumbnail I was curious because I wasn't aware that people still cared about 7DS but damn, 621k! Slappin!

The problem is the story is more mature but they write it like its for kids. it would have been a much better anime if it was written as if it's for young adults and not pre teens
I never had a problem with Elaine since i always just viewed her as a short woman, but I do remember being a tad uncomfortable when I saw Meliodas calling a literal baby his woman. The constant fanservice was always a complaint to me too. You can have sexy characters without having someone consistently groping them. Overall, i remember liking the show as a kid, but in between seasons i just fell off of it, thankfully before the animation tanked. 5/10 Escanor Carried
Tbh, the groping thing was pretty weird, and even now, I still don’t like it, but for a Meliodas perspective it does make sense: Every time he died, he loses more of his emotions, so to keep him still feeling, he does the groping. As for now, he just does it b/c he’s able to get a reaction, that’s about all I think is the reason. Manga is 100% better than the anime tho, fr fr.
The moment Mael reveal happens is when I think the show went to absolute garbage. The reveal was good on it's own, but after that... man. Also I personally would have preferred if Escanor was reincarnated Mael and Estarossa in his youth was a dear friend to Mael and Mael after understanding all the atrocities he committed decides to end the war by asking Gowther to make everyone believe that Estarossa killed him (giving his friend some glory among his people), make the war end with a stalemate and reincarnate his soul (but not his own self) as a mortal as sort of self atonement by giving humanity something beautiful and his Grace would come back when they all need it. At least then you have an explanation of why in the hell did the power of Mael even chose Escanor (think about it, we NEVER got an explanation for it, it just randomly showed up) and it wouldn't deprive us of Estarossa in favor of that... bland angel. Seriously, while well executed twist, Estarossa became such a boring character when he became Mael. And it could have given us more of an interesting relationship between Estarossa and Escanor where they may have become friends. I had this idea because when I thought of similarities between Mael and Estarossa I was less of a fan of Estarossa being Mael and more about Estarossa and Mael being best friends. Where both were middle children in their respective families and Rossa had no hope of being anything among his people or being loved by them and Mael was comforting him as he also understood that. And maybe both of them becoming good friends through that and maybe it gets broken when Mael learns of what his side has committed and cannot stand ever to call himself Rossa's friend or see him again. And then years later when he HAD TO become one of the 4 graces and had his regrets subsided he met Estarossa again who is still at a low point, their friendship reignites and he makes a difficult decision to end the war at the cost of his own life and memory. Where he asks Gowther to do the schism, give his best and only friend some recognition in his family and making the war end on a stalemate where no one else has to die and his best friend can be loved by everyone even if it means he cannot remember their friendship. You could even make Mael looking like Escanor's poster. Then you have Escanor who while still is a 100% mortal (as Mael did not wish to fully reincarnate, for his own self to be left out of the equation), has some explanation behind having that power and it doesn't deprive us in the end of the best character in the show and deepens the character of Estarossa as well. They did my boy dirty all to suck up to Meliodas.
I think I first watched 7DS back in 2014 (subbed; which I guess means it's time for my oatmeal) and thought it was such an amazing anime. It started feeling very draining to watch by the end of the first season though. When the second season rolled around, I was excited, because I needed to see what the hype surrounding Escanor was and then when the third season came, I just gave up. I didn't even giggle or get excited anymore...
"No one has ever finished this show" has to be the most apt description of this show. I sometimes just load it up, watch it for 5 mins and just close it down
That’s…not even a close debate. I’d take RoR s1 over any of 7DS any day lol. 7DS is seriously probably the worse piece of media I’ve ever had the tragedy of being witness to

@@blizzard1198 well, what i said. not sure if you read it differently but i guess the abbreviated version is something like ''what the fuq am i even watching...''. if you want my critique, then id say that the show lost its collective shit and melted its brain over a comic book, shipped what probably looked like rorschach tests and called it a plot line. i get that this wasn't an in depth analysis of the underlying tones that held up grander schemes, that a rick and morty fan would understand, but it really seems like the show went down the route of ''... and then you will never guess what happened next'', like it was in a designer puppy woman's btching group talking about an awful ex. a bit like how dragon ball ended up as ''... and then a dude stronger than god's god's uncle picked a fight''. constantly felt like it wasnt comfortable with its own world that it just created 5 minutes ago, so it needed to try one up itself repeatedly. ending up with a feeling like ''PREVIOUSLY, KING KICKED BAAN IN THE NADS FOR THAT ONE TIME WHEN HE LOST HIS VIRGINITY BECAUSE ITS SUPER RELEVANT TO THE PLOT, AND NOW HE SUPER SAYAN ANGRY! GOWTHER BLEW UP A SMALL CITY AS A SCIENCE EXPERIMENT AND NOW MELIODAS' BROTHER HAS BEEN FREED FROM HIS SEAL AND DESTROYING THE HOLY KNIGHTS IN A QUICK SCOPE DUEL! @@baronvonjo1929 i was already reading the manga from the start before the anime came out i think, so i just didn't really care about how bad the art of season 3/4 where i just kept watching for the story.
Well one of fairy tails "saving graces" was really how long it was... when it started to slowly go down hill, i just couldn't stop watching because i felt so invested at that point. If that downfall would had started in episode let's say 25, i would probably not had watched further but after about a 100 episodes of a show you are at the point when you are so invested you both believe that the end is close and you want to see the end no matter what. I did however struggle to pick it back up in the final season since it had been over two years before it finally released. It's one of the few anime's i have watched without reading the manga before/during the anime. SDS on the other hand started to fall of already after the first season... so i quit watching during 2nd season. Then i picked it up again during a trip to Spain since it was available to watch on the plane and before falling asleep at the hotel. It wasn't anything special, but i watched up to season four i think... It had become so mid i kinda forgot about it afterwards.
Great video! You brought good points up(even the Ordinal Scale bit) and it's very unfortunate that this was my first anime... Thankfully Four Knights(not Horseman) of the Apocalypse is stepping up to be much better... and yet people will complain. Wild the best character hands down prove me wrong
It really doesn't need to be studied, it's so obvious why shows like these fail. - Terrible Villains - Generic plot - Inconsistent designs - Awful character tropes - Low effort plot and dialogue - Power scaling until power was just arbitrary - It's Shonen *I quit watching three episodes into the series.*
Considering the first season statistically did well and the second blew up. Idk wtf ur on about. The third season got negative reviews for obvious reasons. It’s production was ass
Shōnen is THE most popular genre in anime and manga, regardless of whether or not you personally dislike it, and the series did not fail because it's shōnen. Other stuff is pretty accurate, but you didn't even mention how most of the main characters are pedophiles/groomers
@@becausesakamoto5938 Pretty sure the last bit is just because it's Japan and that sort of thing is the cultural norm over there. You see it fairly often in Japanese anime. As for "the most popular" I would need to do my research, but from what I do know. Of the most popular anime series of all time, most of them are not Shonen.
@@thenecromancer8805 well if you look at manga, the top 10 series in terms of total sales includes One Piece, Detective Conan, Dragon Ball, Naruto, Slam Dunk, Tokyo Beat Cops, and Demon Slayer, all of which are shōnen series. This metric of course can be skewed by total number of volumes, which gives long running series an advantage. If you look at MAL, their "most popular" anime list is determined by which series has the largest number of people who have watched it. On that list, every single one of the top 10 is shōnen, with the large majority of the series in the top 100 following suit. This is of course because technically, shōnen isn't a genre, but a demographic. As a western audience we have come to associate shōnen with certain tropes, but those tropes generally belong to actual genres. For example, the "upbeat protagonist with a heart of gold" that we see so often is popular in action/adventure series, and the trope of every female character falling in love with the male protagonist belongs to fan-service romance series. Shōnen just means any series for which the target demographic is adolescent boys, and since that's the demographic which consumes the most manga in Japan, many shōnen series and especially battle shōnen were able to expand their reach to a Western audience early with their success. That's why a lot of the anime people watched as kids were shōnen series, such as Dragon Ball, Naruto, One Piece, Digimon, etc., and thus as the anime many people were first exposed to they naturally became the most popular.
@@thenecromancer8805 Based on my preliminary search, Isekai proved to be the most popular based on web searches alone (google trends data on 30 day to 5yr trends) with the others not even coming close; with shojou coming behind second. Though if you look at top best selling manga of all time, shonen still dominates the top 10.
@@mshake7056tbf king never had that naive nature that Elaine sometimes has. King for the most part is the maturer out of his and diane’s relationship while elaine has been shown to not understand sexual queues while being put into adult situations (such as when ban tried taking her panties that she didnt have or when he got her drunk). That gives off a predatory nature to their relationship, even if elaine is older (and you have to consider that fairy growth might not be proportionate to years, similarly to dogs). If im being honest, both of the relationships are bad since king met diane when she still had infant brain
The premise is actually incredible. I was drawn in immediately, especially with the flipping of the sins, commandments etc. The mangaka though just cant help himself from being unnecessarily weird. Like why make Liz 16 at the start, Jericho and Ban was some of the besf chemistry in the show period and hes like "nah, lets stick with the dead fairy that looks 7 years old" and if that was intended, why tf would you not have her evolve the way king does to avoid putting that stink on your product? Well, if you want engagement, voice an opinion about 7DS. 'My Little Sunshine' hit a little harder than it should. That one had a tear roll down my cheek before I was even aware. Cards on the table. First seasons of 7DS were great. It brought back my youth with Dragonball and Inuyasha when each episode brought a new adventure. For me, there was always bad and lazy writing, but the good outweighed the bad. As the story dragged on, the good dried up and the bad got more pronounced. The thing that grated on my nerves was the subversions. Each sin they wanted to subvert. You thought this guy was an old man? Surprise, he's a 10 year old kid. You expect this sin to be a slab of muscles? Surprise, he's a meek wimp. First couple of times might feel clever, but by 3-4 it's just annoying. Worst were the villains, try to make sense of that pretzel factory. First, he's evil, now he's good. He's always had a demon, but that demon developed feelings. Back and forth, flip flopping like a pancake made of jumping beans. Now I enjoy the abridged series.

Do you need witnesses who saw her give consent in their previous lives to verify?
Yeah which is quite creepy when you think about it.
Yes You need to testify

Not even that, they canonically had sex (and had a kid) 😭😭😭😭 like imagine the size gap between Ban's dick and Elaine's---
Same
The show is full of lolicons. The writer of this show, the characters of this show, the fans of this show.
I stand by the fact that merlin being a wanna-be aizen is the absolute worst plot twist and biggest ass pull ive ever seen in shonen

The moment they put numbers to define the strength of the characters was where it started to fall, Escanor was able to carry Nanatsu on his back for a while, but not even a good character can perform miracles.
The fact I know and I've played the game of your pfp 😭
Good game though, I gotta check if there has been any new update
really? just because of that? and heck that only lasts till like for 1 to 1 and half seasons, and as with everything other thing that uses a scouter that numbers don't mean much after a while.

Such a terrible main character
Maliodas himself made me stop watching the anime since episode one, his attitude to the girl idk her name gave me the ick
Escanor's debut was fucking awesome
He attempted to save the life of 2 of his old pals by taking a 1v1 game against Galand, the Truth Commandment: they would take turns attacking and the oponent had to tank it. He was so weak that a playful slap from Galand made him pass out
A while later, when daytime arrived, Galand tried taking a golden battle axe from the ground, but wasnt able to. Escanor, now growing into a massively muscular form, explain that the weapon was made for him or something: the sin of pride.
They both laugh a bit till Escanor bitchslaps Galand into oblivion. Galand gets up and attack on his turn. Nothing. Escanor takes zero damage. Too bad that now its Escanor's time to attack, but Galand shrinks back in fear and run alway, but ultimately dies to his own curse: his truth was broken, so he turned into a stone statue
You cant possibly create a character cooler than this
Forever insane to see the dichotomy of the Mangaka's level of writing from some of the coolest shit ever to what the actual living fuck is this?
It felt as if in dragon ball we had one of Goku's epic battles and then the shows tells you Krillin is and always has been the protagonist, Goku is just a sidekick at best
He had some of the HARDEST lines too. "Why would I hate someone who is obviously weaker than I am?" He says to ESTAROSSA of all people.
@@googleisevil8958 the context makes it even cooler because he is up against a mandament that if you have negative feelings towards him you get paralized, but Escanor was the sole one to stand up and fight
Don't forget the part where he asked Merlin to stay in her child form while blushing.
That was the coolest, most epic part.
Ban and escanor are a charechter i still remember even despite not touching any seven siins material since season 2🎉
Yeah I quickly lost track of who was supposed to be what power level, and who was a henchman vs being a real villain. It got old pretty fast.
That......and uhhhhh all the pedo stuff

Escanor Carried
That and melodious groping Elizabeth made me uncomfortable
Tbh, the groping thing was pretty weird, and even now, I still don’t like it, but for a Meliodas perspective it does make sense:
Every time he died, he loses more of his emotions, so to keep him still feeling, he does the groping.
As for now, he just does it b/c he’s able to get a reaction, that’s about all I think is the reason.
Manga is 100% better than the anime tho, fr fr.
The animation wasn't the only degrading issue per season, the writing got progressively worse as well.
Yeah everything goes to **** after the first arc honestly only really be kept held up by Escanor
it did get a bit worse over time but still held up decently until Meliodas was revived

SNOOOT!
You know you fail as an author when the best character in your story is a talking pig.
It began so awesome, like... throwing a jevelin across a kingdom. Then actoss the kingdom this "kid" is like uhu, hold on for a moment.... should be right around here... then out of nowhere he catches the jevelin and throws it back.
That was insane.
There was a lot of awesome stuff... until it was clear the writing had absolutely no forethought put into it and everyone has a reveal and actually and and....
was not expecting a pdiddy reference mid video lol u get a sub for that

Every minute in the real world is a year in purgatory. If it was vice versa the series would have become the 1 deadly sin 💀
Watching because you watch Seven deadly sin ❌
Watching because it's a Lunar video ✅
Fun fact, I bought the first volume of the manga and never started watching season 3. I watched the first 2 seasons subbed and then just read the manga. I am not paying netflix for 1 show only. I also hate Percys voice in the anime. And the main bad guy in the sequel is just some dude who suddenly became racist. I do like the 4 Knighst manga so far. Percy is baby and the characters are great. But Ace Attorney has better animation than 7DS apparently. The game, not the anime. But the outtakes were great. The judge has the best lines. I'm a huge fan of the judge. He is just comedy gold. But it is sad to see how much the 7DS anime was driven against the wall. I also dislike Elizabeths new haur cut. The first one was way cuter.
7 deadly terabytes 💀🙏
Glad to see this video blowing up. You got a new sub! Also thank you now i never have to watch 7 deadly sins.
"It should have been like Twilight vs Tirek"
I did not know you were such an unbelievably based individual.
I swear that colourful horse cartoon did NOT need to go that hard. That battle was peak EVERYTHING to 10-year-old me

Glad your back. Your reviews are the best. Always get a good laugh in.
11:51 I can't stop replaying this part 🤣🤣🤣
Dude I haven’t chuckled so many times on a UA-cam video in my entire life. Subscribing because you’re witty as hell man. Keep up the good work I look forward to more content from you.
8:38 i love how he compairs sukuna with that 8:41 and then Twilightsparkle 😂😂❤❤ but I've seen all my little pony episodes when I was little ... and yeah. It is the FIGHT.
I don't remember how many Chapters in I read, but there had to be a reason I stopped a long, long, long, long time ago.
I don't think the Anime was the problem.
It wasn’t I read the manga for the video and honestly didn’t feel that bad
I stopped when the demon king took zeldris body. The story was too fucking boring at that point
@@gustavosauro1882 Probably where I stopped reading, to be honest. I guess it would have been much better going all at once, instead of week by week caring less and less. Edit: But, you can't make that choice when it hasn't been created yet.
@LunarEquinox the manga honestly started getting worse imo. The only things that were going strong were the fights. The final two arcs of the story was very boring and felt rushed.
THERE IS AN ABRIDGED SERIES??!! now this is epic
Bro, you'd not catch me dead saying the holy word of Inuyasha and this anime's name in the same sentence.
This was informative, hilarious, and had a reference to my favorite anime, Open Season. Escanor was definitely the best part, and best character, wouldn't mind a spin off of just him wandering around merking stuff.
Underrated YT channel, your content is much more entertaining than other anime YT channels nowadays.
16:16 "The three stooges" just killed me🤣🤣 so fckin accurate
holy moly you are funny sir, i am glad your sense of humor has found its way into my recommended
8:44 take that back beyblade battles are fucking insane
I just discovered your channel and Im liking your videos and sense of humour, I wish you could make a series about animes that fell off or got bad as they progressed
8:43 Don't disrespect Beyblade like that. It had better animations and fight scenes and it was literally just 2 toy tops smacking into each other with the power of friendship.
I watched three seasons IIRC. There was a part where they defeated what seemed like it could be a main bad guy and the series could have ended there. Unfortunately it slogged on, but fortunately I didn't.
I trust you that Ban losing his virginity was important to the lore, King
I came across your channel a week ago and I gotta say, I'm hooked. Hope you continue making people smile!

I still think this is a very F-ed up thing so many people just ignore.
He literally groomed her.
And I love the "they age differently than humans, she is over 100 years old"
Like it matters, her mind is clearly still that of a child.
As a side note I hate this trope so much, just because you can live to over 1000 years old or just flatout immortal doesn't suddenly make it seem like a 100 years was yesterday.
1. The F did they do for a 100 years? Sit in that cave?
2. Her mind would develop, you can't live as a child for a 100 and learn literally nothing about the world.
Feminists😂 this a godamn show. Its not real🤦♂️ and also you are using our universe rules to this. When that universe is completely different than ours. And also, acting and looking does not equate the age. The whole point with age of consent is that both partners understand the situation and the consequenses. Only modern society shit complains abt this🤢
no way you flashed uminko in 9:06 i jumped 😭
"Demon most likely to say demonic with a Hard C" had me dying brotha. Like and Sub earned.
I Subsribed Immediatly after the end joke catching me off Gaurd ""Pinnacle of all Races is SUCH A COLD LINE..... that I'm not allowed to say"
Escanor's death was completely avoidable by simply having mael fighting instead like he did the first time
Was waiting for ur video for so long...... Took u long enough.. 🥺
It sure did
It sure did
7:38 - 7:53 bro what's happening ?? LMFAOOOO 😂
I remember liking the first season as a kid and then just kinda forgetting about it somwhere during season 2. I did not remember how weird this show was ngl
Season 3 was the turning point for me, ever since i cant watch more than one anime every 6 months
Watch frieren it might remind you how beautiful fantasy anime can be.... No weird relationships or drama just pure good old human connection between the cast and whenever there is action it's some of the best in all anime. Also same here I couldn't bring myself to finish seven deadly sins and took a break from fantasy anime for awhile. Until my friend recommended frieren
@@mdtaj7563 i have already seen it, it was the one anime for the next 6 months, i liked it , it was good
@@mdtaj7563 had me in the first half, not the second, if you don't like tropes that is one thing, but letting just one series making you give on up on a entire genre, there were plenty of other series at the time you could have watched instead.
That fairy girl is 300+ years older than him, if anything, She's the one going to jail.
It's just weird that she looks like an 8-year-old dude
Yes.
@@diamondinvr Because she's a fairy. It is definitely fucking weird but fairies have often been portrayed that way in historical mythology. Religion especially portrays cherubs and other fairy-like or angelic beings as looking like children. And it seems like that is what Elaine was meant to represent. Still gross as hell though.
It is still weird. Excusing your fetish with her fantasy age is not an excuse for being a lolicon.
But you forgot that this only okay for women to do this but not men.
I keep hearing people complain about Shield Hero's anime... They clearly haven't seen The Seven Deadly Sins. I wish I didn't. Even Grand Cross - a mobile game - did The Seven Deadly Sins better than The Seven Deadly Sins anime. And THAT is a real fall off, unlike Shield Hero (who went back up).
People complain about shield hero animation? I thought they just didn't like the turtle arc because it was dragging own.
@@dedrickjones8570yep the complaints are about the story not about the animation.

"Raising his wife" has got to be the most diabolical sentence I've ever heard
I might be the only person in the world who didn't notice the bad art and animation in the last few seasons (the story made me forget about it)
