He seems like he's enjoying retirement, like he's just enjoying the fruits of his labor. 40-some odd years of being at the top, an innovator in heavy metal history, he's maintained a sense of dignity not often seen in retired musicians. It's nice to see him relax a bit, as much as we all miss him. He's earned this right - just make the odd appearance here or there K.K.! We love you.
Hi KK, big fan here, and I love JP and I love you. It is so good to see you relaxing, showing and explaining some of your gears and history. This is marvelous. Thanks again!
K.K. - Thanks so much for taking the time to share your gear, history, and expertise with your fans! It was a joy to watch and watch you relive some of the moments from your career. Love it!

Thank you, truly means alot' to a lifelong fan to hear about and see the the pedalboard you used in the late 70s on the road.We can only hope the board becomes functional with some work.
I met him after the Screaming For Vengeance tour stop in Salt Lake City and got most of the other guy's autographs as well. K.K. has to be the coolest guitar player I ever met. He's one of the reasons why I bought myself a Gibson. YES!
I remember catching one of your picks you thru when playing at the starwood in Hollywood. back in the days. the first time you guys played there. you guys Rock the house down.
Hello KK. Been following Priest since the beginning and still a fan to this day although you are missed in the band. Just wanted to say as I grew up in Chicago, that The Hard Rock Cafe in Chicago was one of yours and Glenn Tipton's guitars. Saw you guys many times in concert in Chicago. Just now getting used to Glenn not touring and Priest won't be the same without either of you. Thanks for all the great years of music.
He seems like a really articulate and down to earth guy, I'd love to see more videos on the evolution of his gear with Priest, for example I think for the U.S. festival both he and Glenn where using pedalboards made by Pete Cornish, I'm eager to hear about those.
I wish I could sit down over some beers and talk guitars, gear, technique and influences with him. He's so insightful and knowledgeable, and obviously very intelligent and engaging, and I feel like just a simple conversation with him would be an incredibly educational experience.
I'll always remember seeing Priest doing Living After Midnight on Raw Power back in the day. - We covered it in the band I was in at the time, and I've been a fan ever since. (What a nice guy)
Any time you feel like putting out a solo album, I'm sure there is an audience out there for it. Judas Priest has been my favorite band for over 35 years and have seen you guys several times. Best wishes to you.
Kenneth, your inspired playing has influenced my musical tastes in many ways. Biggest thanks. Good health and creative longevity! Great regards from Russia! )
Can't believe I haven't seen this yet . K.K and Glen are two of my biggest influences. Love Judas Priest ! I saw the British Steel and Screaming for Vengeance tours at the Prairie Capital Convention Center in Springfield Illinois. Also saw the Painkiller tour in Lakeland Florida. Another great show was Rob Halford's Fight opening for Metallica in St. Petersburg Florida. Suicidal Tendencies was also on the bill. Robert Trujillo's future in front of my eyes . My blood is Metal.
Kk!! Saw you Madison square garden 2nd row center screaming for vengeance tour w maiden doing number of the beast! Thank you for playing that V I'll never forget you guys doing victim of changes!
Great guy! Met him, Glenn and Ian in 98, and they were super cool. KK mentioned pre-show that we were going to love Ripper on vocals. Was my first Priest show, and at a small club venue. So intimate and amazing! The three guitarists did their trademark back and forth motions, especially on Beyond the Realms of Death. Just nailed it! Killer show with Ripper.
saw you guys open for UFO on the hell bent for leather tour in wa state in a small college gym, in 1979, i tossed a ring up to you from the front row and you wore it the rest of the concert.....great night of rock n roll, thank you.....we were both so young lol

Message for the camera man: Next time you conduct an interview on video, please, for the love of God, put the camera on a tripod. It's a damn good interview, otherwise. Was the (formerly) Candy Apple red V the one Michael Schenker coveted?
+MrMoloch001 And use an external microphone. Keep hearing the camera housing squeaking as the "camera operator" makes adjustments. But yes, what a greatly informative video. Loved it.
MrMoloch001 Totally agree! Great interview, but the "squeaking" and "rubbing" of the camera and the "movement" was so irritating and distracting, I nearly quit watching several times. #newpetpeeve
Has to be the same V. I thought he would mention him (M.S.), but maybe that bit of info wasn't that too important to him. His show. His rules. Haha. \m/ K.K. RULES \m/ One half of my Twin Metal Guitar Gods!

What a cool guy, and a legendary guitarist. Cheers KK.
yeah, realy cool guy, nice to listen to
Where in the hell would Metal be without this guy? I mean really.......
KK always comes across like a really good guy. Very likeable and grounded. He’s certainly earned his status as a metal legend. All the best to him.
K.K. Downing is easily one of my hero’s! Whenever I jam out to Priest songs I always try and learn his rhythm and lead sections.
Saw him throw his flying V and catch it ! Probably one of the greatest thing that I have seen in rock n roll history.
It’s clearly easy to see why they lasted so long together. KK is an awesome human being.
He made the Flying V iconic in metal!
