“One last ride” means another 4 movies.. according to fast and furious
I want it
@@hoddy1368 unless The Rock somehow hops on this series too. Then, it's 4 movies and a few Spin Offs
josh d that’s what we want anything new is better then nothing
@@hoddy1368 only if they can do it right though
josh d yeah but I think they got the mark now if you watched the movie it leaves you wanting more also I hope more funny scenes
Take a shot every time Chris says how surprised he was about the film not being terrible
why he always seem to be going to think every movie he watches is going to be terrible? that's bad mentality to have for a movie critic, i think it effects his reviews
great now I'm drunk! Well of to work to drive my tram....
Drug shot?
He’s so cynical
Doni Amer I don’t think that’s true, he pretty much falls in line with most people’s personal expectations. He didn’t like the previous films so he wasn’t expecting much from this one, that makes sense. In other cases if a director he likes makes a film, he’d look forward to it
I think most critics don't get it. Bad Boys was never meant to be "deep". People watch it for pure entertainment value. What matters is it succeeds at what it attempts to be
Critics don't get it full stop. They've got their head up their asses most of them.
This guy lol dumb thoughts on what he thought no one wants to hear your negative thoughts. Bay boys 1 and 2, were good, Michel bay is a good action director. Please with this guy and lethal weapon and rush hr were good just not great bad boys is just better for cop movies in my opinion more fun and funny.
Exactly.. the same way we enjoy watching Marvel movies. It’s called suspending your disbelief
Ivan Wilson The overwhelming majority of critics like this movie, what are you talking about?
I'm just wondering who thinks it's supposed to be deep
"There is some restraint more so then when Michael Bay is directing."
Shows clip of Martin Lawrence in a sidecar with a cannon.
Bill B 🤣🤣🤣
Soooooooo... accurate.
Bahagahaha
Glad to know this movie doesn't suck. Will Smith has had a hard time at the box office lately.
Didn't Aladdin take in over a billion?
Gavin Henderson but that's not really a Will Smith movie lol
@@brandon17760 yes it is. He was the ball of energy that made the movie go, imo of course.
As much as I like him: he should choose his roles more wisely.
@@schumifannreins295 Agree. Currently, none of his upcoming projects look promising. Check out his IMDB.
The highway chase in bad boys 2 is still pretty damn insane, bayhem at its finest, that and the Reggie scene is why I love bad boys 2
Reggie? That dudes at least 30!
Ever make love to a man?
...Want to?
Don't you disrespect me in front of company.
You smoke that s***??
I love that scene
It was a huge surprise for me how quality this movie was.
It wasn’t terrrrrible but it was not great either. First two movies are soooo much better
Totally agree
True Strength Training disagree, I think this one is far better than the second. They went way too overboard with it and was more a guilty pleasure film.
@@truestrengthtraining3262 nah the second one was terrible
True Strength Training i liked this movie better than the second one!
How the hell is will Smith 50 years old he still looks 30
Baby blood
Midnight Cocoa Bean dye.
Seriously though... I've met Will Smith in real life and his hair is salt and pepper. He def looks his age but dye and makeup do wonders on screen. Also, he's a real cool dude.
He dyes his hair and beard
He black
That's what I said about Brad Pitt
Should have waited for the 4th movie to use that title. Then it could have been "Bad Boys 4 Life"
+BattleUp Saber
Agreed.... unless it'll be titled "Bad Boys 4Ever".
There won't be a fouth
BattleUp Saber or Bad Boys 4 Ever
bad boys 4 afterlife
Bad Boys in Space.
Beverly Hills Cop is soooo criminally underrated. Its like it never existed no one ever mentions it for a buddy cop movie.
Sadly a lot of people paid more attention to the lethal weapon movies, kinda how a lot of people called black panther "the first African American comic boook character" when I remember meteor man & Michael J White as spawn before the big comic book craze.
Also, Beverly Hills Cop movies were more 80s. I grew up throughout the 80s but my 1st time at the movies was the 90s. I can see a 50-65yr old giving that franchise a nod.
@@halfbreedheathan5054 spawn sucked though. Wesley Snipes as blade is a much better example as a black comic book character in a live action movie.
Hell yeah!
Always a soft spot for BHC as well as Midnight run, F/X and 48 hours.
The most hype/engaged I have seen a crowd in the theatre in years no lie, movie was awesome
as a bad boys fan this is the worst piece of shit story I've seen, great action, shitty plot with shitty dialogue
And I got emotional 😭
its the worst movie ever made
This movie is absolute horse shit
@@hughg.rection6778 I agree with the dialogue
"80's canon movie villains just ripped out of a failed Chuck Norris sequel."
This statement is pure poetry.
Pretty much why I didn't finished Bad Boys II
He could say that for plenty of other franchises but it's an insult to bad boys
It's meant to be simple. Bad boys stopping bad guys. It's not suppose to have depth. That's why this one feels like bad boys meets fast and furious movie. Not that fast is deep but the explanation for characters is not BB.
Bad boys is just fun, but yeah rush hour is next level
Agreed
They both great no need to start a war
No rush hour is a bore.
Both movies series are good no one is expecting Shakespeare when watching these movies they're fun and cut you brain off for 2 hours
Money Talks is what I'm talking about. Rush Hour without the martial arts, and I kinda prefer that, even thought the special effects are not that good (some horrible CGI). I think that was Brett Ratner's first film, a year before Rush Hour.
As a Belgian who's followed the careers of Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah
, it's nice to see they're succeeding in Hollywood. I was really nervous this movie was going to suck and tarnish their names forever (because they're actually quite unique and have their distinctive style), and even though I don't really give a shit about this franchise, I'm happy to see it's actually a pretty decent movie (for what it is).
Same here dude
They directed my music video in 2018 before filming this - really smart dudes!!
100% agree with you, dont know why I worried because I really like their work.
Same. There's that curse of Belgian directors trying things in the US that usually doesn't work out well. I'm hoping it goes better for these two. :-O
And the last thing you want is a repeat of Erik van Looy, where everybody keeps joking about the fact that your US adventure flopped.
they are Morrocans originally i think
Godforbid he just says, "this movie was pretty good" instead of "surprisingly not terrible"
Yep lol
@@masterchief6023 I think he a bit stuck up in my opinion. This movie achieves its goal and successfully so.
Well it's because the last one was trash.
@@el34glo59 you can still say "surprisingly good" "surprisingly better" like he made it a point to say not terrible multiple times lol sounds like "I want to hate it but can't"
Luis Alicea He can say whatever he wants. It all means the same thing.
The Bad Boys movies were a big part of my childhood lmao, so seeing good reviews of this movie is amazing
I love Chris even more now. He likes Rush Hour
Yeah. It's a really fun flick.

A good Bad Boys Movie without MICHAEL BAY?
How is that even possible?!
Because there's no Michael bay
Theres bumblebee
snokoan2 bumble was good in the beginning they should left it like that the whole movie after that I thought it was mediocre
Cuz Michael Bay is a piece of shit.
seb seb, it all about the writers
I just want to laugh, and see Will and Martin on screen together. I’m still excited to see the movie
Finally, a series that Chris didn’t grow up with.
I GREW UP with Chris saying "I GREW UP with" everything.
😂
I mean, he did grow up with Will Smith, so... 😗
Being born and raised in Miami, I have always had a soft spot for these. I grew up around all the set pieces used in the films. They truely did suffer from Bayisams.
Bay is a good director
@Lord Farquaad let me guess Abrams fan?
They shot this in front of my job, I watched them shoot the chase scene.
Lord Farquaad he made a war movie a few years ago that was pretty good forget the name
@@jakegraham3758 13 Hours. Definitely one of his best, especially considering the shitshow that is 6 Underground.
1995 Badboys 1
2003 Badboys 2
2020 Badboys 4 Life
25 years it took to close this franchise? :/
Where is 3?
In sequel heavy Hollywood. It's kind of nice that they don't rush and shove these down our throats. As a fan of the series, I think it's more appropriate.
yeah Saw Smith saying he wanted to do it right because he didn't want this to be like Men in Black 2 (sucked big time) and other sequels he did he said wasn't proud of. If it's a B- for Chris then I'll be very happy I'm a bad boys fan and Smith needs a win he hasn't had a good movie in years.
We need bad boys 4 to close out this franchise with a Lethal Weapon 4 twist with Will and Martin being old men and still being bad asses
😂😂😂
"They feel really loud and incoherent."
Wait, which Michael Bay movie are we talking about again?
*Will Smith is a whole legend outchea*
His talent is off the charts!

I can tell Chris like this movie
So that's it, huh? We're some kind of Bad Boys for Life?
He grew up with Bad Boys
Bad boys is back!!
Evan fuck off Evan
@Evan You know, I used to be annoyed at you, but now I relish every second I see you in a comment section!
By the way, how do you feel about Finn?
As a Belgian, you pronounced the names quite perfectly.
Which doesn’t happen often with native English speakers.
To be fair their name sound more Arabic than European.
Theirs are Arab names dude.
sir edzonko they’re Belgian lmao
@@micahkxio9321 nationality differs from ethnicity. If a Belge of Dutch descent have a name, would the name be considered Dutch or Belgian?
sir edzonko bro i never said their names were Belgium. I just said they were Belgium. I’m not a idiot.
The Rita character was referenced like she's been in both movies and turns out she never was. I haven't see both but that was weird.
I loved this movie.
Exactly :))
@@Tan87ful that was weird and was the mom the one that shanked the guard in the prison and how did she get in the ambulance? That was incredibly confusing.
Just like the random Niece in Rambo: Last Blood
They swarmed the guard stabbed her, stole her clothes, and put her in the washing machine. They put the guard uniform on Isabella and she was taken by the ambulance.
Rita was just added to distract from the twist. Well handled. Unless you one of those people who theorizes every single possibility mid movie then the twist is pretty well hidden.
I still tell people to "whosa" when they are stressed! I will go see it, and I am glad Bay is not behind the camera.
Tiaesha Nicole the movie it self is heavily Micheal bay influenced.
Nothing will ever beat "whoosa" especially if you from a black family 🤣🤣🤣 no idea how many times I still hear family quote "nigga you look thirty" 🤣
@@vishansilva8546Don't you mean "Bayhem" lol
Whosa haha, I say it too
The Directors should simply rebrand themselves as "Adil & Bilall"
Think they call themselves that. But they use their whole name in the credits.
Opening credits just say the two names like that
I'm still waiting for rush hour 4.
Same!

Watched the movie today, maybe I can see what Chris says about the machine gun scene in the side car with Martin lawrence. But nothing overly major. I went to see it to have fun, mission accomplished. I give it a B.
Even with the way Chris was talking about the film I wasn't expecting a B-!
"Bad boys... Watcha gonna do... When Bay not directing you?" ... Ahhh... Be coherent.
Fun fact: michael Bay made a cameo appearance in the movie.
Lola Diaz where?

Zom yeah but who is he in real life
I rolled my eyes at Armando being given a chance at redemption.
Sure he realized he was being set up by his mother but he still killed several important people including the captain.
It's like Deckard Shaw all over again.
Yeah, I can't forgive him killing the Captain. The only way it can work is if he stays the token evil teammate.

Martin Lawrence got old and fat yet Will Smith looks the same.
So finally ONE thing I got in common with Martin Lawrence!
He was recovering from back injury before and during filming. He slim down.
Martin was in retirement before making this film. Give the guy a break.

Growing up I could not a imagine a movie having a sequel in the year 2000 when the previous entries were in the early 80s and late 70s. The first Bad Boys doesn't feel like it came out 25 years ago to me. But man 1995 was 25 years ago, makes me feel old.
Enemy Of The State is sort of a quasi sequel to The Conversation.
I’m guessing there are old man jokes
There's Star Wars if you're willing to accept prequels.
KingofNewark top gun 2 coming out and coming to America 2

Great channel. Authentic and funny Reviews are hard to find.
They don't do movies like this anymore... and regarding the first 2 villians... i love them both... its great!.. the whole trilogy is fucking AWESOME
aah man you have a terrible taste in film goddamn..
@@Mike-hj7gg why because he is not sooo special like you to not be satisfied by this movie, you shouldnt talk about people choice of music movies etc. Its art and its subjective. People like other things, like hereditary was bad for me because its overrated for me but it isnt bad movie just to me it isnt good as people say, to me conjuring 1 is miles better but everyone has their opinion and if you enjoy other movies nobody should stop you from doing your thing,
I am not judgmental but a lot of you people are like experts and special and cannot be satisfied with any movie and every movie is bad to you because you watch these experts who nitpick a lot of things, and then you cant be satisfied because you are starting to nitpick yourself and act as some film critic who needs divine movie to satisfy you
Mike just because he likes simple good guy bad guy movies? This new bad boys reused an over used trope. That means the writing is obviously derived from other trends in Hollywood.
The movie wasn't bad but it felt least like bad boys.
@@Mike-hj7gg I saw your comment just now. Be a man and be polite. Just say you don’t like it. Not that I have bad taste. The movie has good rating so if someone has bad taste, its definitly not me, it would be you. Unfortunitly.
Respect now a days is really rare.
@@DBMWM3GTR how was i impolite? i simply stated that you have bad taste in cinema, not like i called you a pedo or something.. and my original statement i stand by. This is a terrible fucking movie, borderline unwatchable.. The plot is stupid, dialogue is bad, editing is like a crack addict grabbed a pair of scissors and went to town. Take a couple of years off and watch "real" cinema like Kubrick, Kurosawa, Tarkovsky etc. and i promise you this film will hurt and insult your brain as well.
I actually saw this trailer hoping you would review this Chris.
I've never really been a fan of the Bad Boys films too. Although i freaking love parts of BBII-the scene with Regie is really funny and there are some really stupid, absurd, crazy-bombastic parts in it.

Regie ,KKK, and XTC trip Martin are the best scenes of the movie. Im no fan of bad boys but i like the movies for what they are turn your brain off actiontime.
This movie was great fun and I really enjoyed it. As for the CGI criticisms I never even noticed them.
I’ve been watching you for years your T-shirt game is awesome Thanks for the constant movie reviews and honesty
am even more excited for this now. I love this franchise and if they manage to make a film on par with the other two after 17 years i will be impressed
Ought to see "patser", the big movie adil and bilal made in Belgium.
The English title is "gangsta"

That said. The movie Black remains one of their finest. It was that film that put them on the map.

Been watching your videos for a while, finally subscribed today when you said you liked the Rush Hour movies. Love those movies, they def deserved more attention. Love Jackie Chan!
Hey Chris. I saw your review of 12 Angry men (also one of my personal favorite movies as well) and couldn't help but be reminded of an old movie that gave me similar critiques. It's called All the Presidents Men. An under the radar movie for most to be sure but hailed among almost all critiques that saw it. I'd highly recommend watching it. Give it a review as well if it fits your schedule. I'm certain it would be a movie your viewers would enjoy having introduced to them.
Is this the highest movie grade Chris Stuckmann has given to a Will Smith movie after Independence Day and Men in Black?
akshay satish add in I- Robot which was really good
I really liked part 1, was really cold on part 2 but this convinced me to give part 3 a shot
I took a film camp this past summer and my teacher was actually a PA on the set of this movie and was telling us about his experiences. It was pretty cool. I never thought it was going to be great but I think it will be fun.
I wonder what critics look like when they laugh....think to themselves “hmm. That was not that terrible”
• Me: Oh great; yet another 'Bad Boys' movie [yawn]. *DEFINITELY skip!*
• Chris: "This is the first in the franchise to *NOT* be directed by Michael Bay."

Shit just got real......
Thanks chris I'm gonna watch it
Speaking of Rush Hour, we need a fourth one before Jackie gets too old.
Victor Skywalker he’s kind of old already 🤣
I’m more worried about Chris Tucker getting too out of shape... Jackie still working
Dominique Martin good point. It literally took six years for the third one and even in that one he was looking pudgy. Plus, idk if Brett Ratner can do it cause he got me-too’d.
Dont worry we got the technology that they used on Robert de niro on the irishman.
Victor Skywalker Jackie was old 10 years ago.
I actually liked the movie a lot, the personalities show much more then when Michael Bay directed the first two movies, this movie although was f great to the new Director Awsome
I love the Bad Boys Movies I grew up on them but yeah I love Rush Hour too and I do agree there isn’t much of a story in the Bad Boys Movies but I didn’t watch them for that, I watched them for the characters chemistry, the humor and the action. But I understand what you are saying. Either way I’m so looking forward to this movie even more now! Thank you Chris!
Did he really notice is was a stunt double with Will Smith's face? Or did he know it because Will Smith has been stating it as so in press interviews?! 🧐🤔
You should do a review on Fast Color. I love your reviews and I'd love to see what you think about it.
A not so bad movie in January?
What a time to be alive.
I like Martin, he's the only reason I might watch this movie.
Glad to see him in this, and not another Big Momma's House movie.
XRJ92 same here. I was beyond excited to see him in the beach bum.
@@Thatonegirl989 Yeah, I heard he was in that

Yo tango and cash was my shitttttt lol wish they made more
Tango and Cash
Bad Boys
Rush Hour
Can they remake Tango & Cash?
Probably not there both about almost 70 the stunts they wouldn't be able to handle. There is also cgi but it's gonna look to fake cause we all know that there old
Anybody remember Running Scared with Billy Crystal and Gregory Hines? Came out like a year before Lethal Weapon. Probably my favorite buddy cop movie. In fact, I think it was when that phrase was coined.
"actually semi-coherent" - movie praise of the year
Now I want to see Chris do some reviews for both Rush Hour and Rush Hour 2
Never really cared for the first Bad Boys film. The second one will always be a guilty pleasure of mine lol.
Wise up! 1st one was brilliant!
That Reggie is still good hopefully he comes into the new one and they diss him again
agreed, the second one is so loud, colourful and crazy it’s hard not to fall for it lol
I'm the opposite. That rat or mouse thing was disgusting.
Who's gonna watch this?
I’ve been debating on wether to rent this or not at home...since you and flickinger both say this is a decent movie, I think I’ll actually check this out with my wife tonight.
Solid review Chris 👍🏻👍🏻
The fact that this movie was shot in Miami has my attention. Kinda nice to have a change of scenery.
i mean the first two were shot in Miami as well.
Kevin Lewis Indeed, but movies outside of Southern California are few and far between. Im just grateful for that aspect is all.
Love your content man, keep it up!
I lived in Florida when there were filming this movie, traffic was hell XD
Can we see a rush hour 1 and 2 review now, mainly just a video talking about how good those two movies are.
Chris, Is the character change you dont buy the "killers" change from bad to good at the end?
Honestly my favorite part of the Bad Boys movies is when it showed up in Hot Fuzz
I agree with everything in this review. Although I like seeing Martin Lawrence & Will Smith’s chemistry onscreen, I don’t like the way Michael Bay directs them either. PS, just like u, Chris, I also love the Rush Hour trilogy. We still need a Rush Hour 4, which is long overdue
The fact that you said your favorite buddy cop movie from the 90’s is Rush Hour made me like you even more.
"I didn't grow up watching Bad Boys".
So basically remove Michael Bay from directing any franchise and you have a better film. Look at Bumblebee. Fantastic Transformers movie that wasn't done by him.
chibikim bumblebee is a overrated transformers movies it’s mediocre at best.
Bumblebee was great first time I felt attached to a robot since iron giant 🤷🏾♂️
Bumblebee was shit... It was like someone made a metal song lover listen to taylor swift...
It was only good because it had John Cena in it
good to hear that the directing is on point. thats what had me worried the most, that it wasnt directed by the bay.
Fabian Miranda honestly same here.
Growing up in the 90s, this franchise means alot to me. Haven't seen it yet but glad to hear it doesn't suck.
I just saw it fam. It does not suck at all.
I’m not really a fan of the Bad Boys movies, but since i’m from belguim I was intrested in how this film would turn out. Here in Belguim the 2 directors are kind of a hype, every time they make a film its a big success. So when it was announced that they would be making “a big hollywood film” i was kind of worried (since previous belgain directors failed big time in the US) but now i am surpriced that this film gets kind of good reviews.
B- for life.
Totally agree with Chris.
Both Rush Hour 1 and 2 are 100x better than the Bad Boys films.
Yeah not even close.
followerofshrek disagree
Totally disagree. And I LOVED rush hour.
I couldn't agree more! The chemistry between Lawrence and Smith and their autoparody were the major factor why my guilty pleasure didn't feel that guilty ;) And the fact that M. Bay didn't do it made it bearable. Thanks for the review.
I loved both Bay Boys movies. Hearing that this is like those, with better character depth, and better action direction, is music to my ears. Great, honest review.
I'm from the same city as the directors. Met them even once. I gotta admit they did pretty well.
Didn't expect Chris giving an A+
Hi Chris, I love your channel. Very entertaining.
I’d like to recommend a movie for your hilariocity series. Amityville 4: The Evil Escapes. I love horror, you love horror. Amityville is a classic, but this train wreck is AMAZING. Terrible dialogue, cheesy special effects, preposterous plot (the evil “transmigrates” from the house into a lamp and then gets moved to California, where the evil then moves into the new house), it checks a lot of your hilariocity boxes.
Hope you enjoy it and keep up the great work.
January movies per sey are the ones being released for the first time by the studios in the month of January. There's plenty of other new releases in January which had very limited release in December to qualify for the Oscars. Because of that, January itself is a wonderful time for new movies being released wide for the first time, and a wonderful time for moviegoers. There's a few new January releases that officially count for January release, but year after year, January is a great time at the movies.
Chris can't make up his mind whether he likes it or hates it lol
Scared Cat i think he hates that he likes it lol
He’s trying real hard to hate it
Biruk Gebreyohannes Oh you saw it? Go on then
Lol he’s definitely surprised as hell that it didn’t suck
I'm saying.
Really like I can tell Chris pretty much liked this movie honestly
Being a fan of the series, I was not disappointed.
The qualities of drama, but also great humor amongst that profundity and oddness, and unique weirdness and newness that they are gonna bring visually, put the hero thing on the back burner.
Bad boys, Bad boys,
Whatcha gonna do,
Whatcha gonna do,
Give a good review
Will you review Terrence Malick's "A Hidden Life"?
I am so happy with this review. I am a fan of both Martin and Will but not a fan of any of the Bad Boy films. After Gemini Man, I really prayed for this to have good reviews and be a box office success.
I just saw it and it was fun! It's been SOOOOOO long since I saw the original, all I remember is that Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are great together. This seemed to hit all the marks, really funny dialogue mixed with over the top violence and killer car chases. I was the only one in the cinema who laughed at Michael Bay's cameo as the wedding DJ. Nice touch.
I wish my Spanish was better, I live in Vietnam and the subtitles are only in Vietnamese, so when there are other languages in the film, they don't have the English-- I am sure I missed some plot points, as there's a reasonable amount of dialogue between the main villains in Spanish.
