Well done to the whole group. Am in Essex, UK. I did the same trip last August with Follow Alice and it was much busier. The emotions, fatigue you experienced echoed my own. I conjured up some reserves of energy from somewhere and just thought about my late mum whose spirit carried me through. We were both born in Kenya(just across the border) so it was like coming back to my roots. Brilliant that you gave a shout out to the amazing porters and Follow Alice, I wouldn't recommend any other company. Alex was my assistant guide last year and I wouldn't have done it without him; he was so full of enthusiasm and energy, it's remarkable. I've no idea where it comes from considering the number of times he's climbed it, it always seems like it's the first😀. Am still in touch with him as we're going back again in a couple of weeks. Glad you all made it safe and sound. Never give up on your dreams! On to the next adventure

“I’m impressed by your unwavering spirit.”
Hello from London! What an amazing achievement!! I can very rarely sit through an average UA-cam video without breaks or losing attention, but I was glued to the screen the entire time with this one. Well done guys, and thanks for sharing this very emotional journey with us! 👊🏻
I’m not in any way outdoorsy, but I so enjoyed watching this video of your journey. i was crying happy tears alongside you at the summit. Thank you for sharing your adventure!❤
I never even heard you saying that you were in training for a mountain climb! Did you do any training at all? I am amazed by the kindness and the good heart of the accompanying guides. I am sure they get paid but nonetheless their kindness and warmth, not least their "never give up" is heart warming! Well done to you both!
What an amazing video this is! Thank you for your real, raw emotions. I’m so proud of the both of you. Congratulations on this magnificent achievement.
Thank you so much! Really appreciate it 🥰❤️
Julia is so strong ! Take care ! ❤❤❤
Thank you so much Yvonne, I really appreciate it ❤️❤️❤️
You guys are such a remarkable couples ! Brought me to tears. Your community is with you all the way. We are all In tears !!! 🥰🥰
wow - astonishing! I watched the whole of it in one go! You guys are a lovely couple x
Thank you so much, that means the world!! ❤️🙏🏼
I hope you know that the porters that work on Kilimanjaro are working everyday bringing up over 80 kg EVERYDAY just for the tourist to make literal parties. The porters don’t any weekend, are working 24/7 and are still getting absolutely underpaid. The situation there is even worse than at the 8000 with the Sherpas. The porters are genuinely suffering bringing up those way to heavy backpacks while people like your favorite youtuber are just doing a little walk.
Btw, every year there are around 100.000 people doing the walk (1000 people a day), could you imagine how much trash there is?
You two are amazing. What an achievement. Had a tear for you both at the sumit. Watching from 🇦🇺 Australia🎉Congratulations
Thank you so much Catherine! ❤️🙌🏼

Thank you for taking us with you. I would have loved to do this, when I was younger, so watching you two felt like I was there with you. Matt, I would have had very similar symptoms like yours, I am prone to head aches and tummy upsets, so I totally get the agony you went through!
Thank you for coming along with us!! ❤️❤️❤️
I have watched a few of these Kilimanjaro summits and this was the most emotional.

I must say this has to be the best video I've seen. I watched the entire video and I felt like I was part of it. Thank you for capturing your beautiful experience and showcasing it to the world. Congratulations on conquering Kilimanjaro and I'm looking forward to doing it next year!
Btw you guys are a beautiful couple, supporting each other and looking out for each other the entire time. It was beautiful to watch!
Cheers!
Just seen your comment, thank you so much! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I cried with you guys, so so proud of you and I don't even know you.🫶 I summited Toubkal recently (highest peak in Northern Africa) and even though it was significantly lower at 4167m I struggled in between, but never gave up. Didn't even think about it. It's always worth it to follow your dreams. 🙌🏼 Keep going you two and lots of love from 🇦🇺
That was so emotional…thanks for taking us along on an epic adventure…I feel exhausted ❤ Well done!

This was the most incredible adventure you have taken us on. Through this level of emotional and physical hardship can only come huge relief and primal joy. You're brave for showing your vulnerability.
Also I couldn't believe how much the landscape changed. Day three already looked more like Scotland than Africa!
what an amazing video just blown away 🤍🤍
