This video is initially helpful - but then leaving you high and dry. What happesn AFTER this process.... do you just simply reconnect the bluetooth, do you have to delete the previous lock on your app? There's a LOT more involved here with connecting this lock.

You have a very interesting and informative channel. So what I’m looking for is a higher capacity fireproof safe. I live in wildfire-prone California. What I want isn’t so much burglar protection as fire protection. I want to store hard to replace documents, emergency cash, and the like. I have enough land that I want the safe to be far enough from combustible structures. What would you suggest? Thank you in advance. Dan

is there a way to just restart the thing instead of factory reset? you know like you do on computer...You can restart a computer without factory reset. the only thing wrong with mine is that it does not lock from the keypad.

I had to reset my phone, logged into my account and couldnt just sign into my acct. I did my reset but its saying my lock is already paird but wont let me add it to my phone again. What do can I do?

My HALO Kwikset doesn’t work ! Wi-Fi I suspect has a fatal flaw ! Did all the resets , Called factory support ,did another walk through with support staff , but odd that he hung up after final step to ask if it worked . Which made me more suspicious. I can not find anything on wed addressing Wi-Fi problems , as soon as you out of Wi-Fi range goes OFFLINE.

We've only installed a few of the Halos, as it's not our favorite smart lock (see our Video Comparing at: ua-cam.com/video/P7j6PnZZnR8/v-deo.html ).
One issue you could be having is if you are using one of the new dynamically switching modems. These prevent you from having a 2.4Ghz dedicated wifi band and are known to cause issues. We explain it in this video:

Other than the above known issue, it could simply be a faulty product.
