Wonderful tour Mister Miller. Beautifully explain and very detailed. What more can you ask for? I wonder if the LED lights inside can be replaced with third party LEDs? Because i'm not a fan of cool-white LEDs. It should always be warm white.
*I gotta' have the 'Caravel' model of this 'Bambi'...if I'm spending that much money, I may as well get the 'full-upgrade' w/the 'ducted A/C' and more power from the 'AGM' batteries* ( *I've read that the 'new generation' compost-toilets instead of a 'flusher' means you can basically 'dry camp' until your fresh water runs dry...if you're out in the boonies you just drain the 'grey-black' tank because there's nothing 'icky' inside the tank except soapy water* ) *I like the '19cb' version for more than one person, but for just me the '16 is perfect plus it will fit damn near anywhere and can be towed by any 'full-size car or truck' with power to spare*
it would nice to have you tell where the sport or any airstreams in smaller size ranks.. more than one Bambi, which has best features or why are they different. Example Rubicon is top of Wrangler class and sport bottom..Is this sport bottom of the Bambi? Please give an idea of what vehicles can tow it... great review.
daddydojang I'm migrating to the canada soon and currently RV hunting. I don't Wana deal with the stress of paying rents. This got me but the price is gona create a big hole in my account and I still won't be able to pay the full amount. But hey airstream, good stuff you got.
Susan, if you can look at you cost of usage... it is not much. Look at a 10 year old Airstream, you will pay about what the original owner paid for it 10 yrs ago. If you keep it 20 years or so, you will probably get back more than you invested.

Warm white bulbs are warmer in temp thus, generating more heat (energy loss) and are not as efficient in comparison to (cooler) white light.
