Ja’Tavion was rated the 2nd best TE heading into this draft and the Panthers managed to snatch him up in the 4th. Much like the Brooks pick, Panthers just out here stealing lol
Panthers are having a great draft class this year.
Especially without the 1 pick. Leggete, Sanders, Johnson, Mingo, Thielin. They’re getting Bryce Young help with new weapons and the o line from free agency.

Dan Morgan is in his bag. The man has dramatically improved the Panther's roster in his first free agency period and draft. I don't see any misses - only doubles, triples, and home runs.

@@gabesheaffer7757 and a fraction of the playmaker Sanders is. Ja'tavion can make offensive plays that Tremble simply can't. No knock on Tremble, but we need a real TE that defenses view as a receiving threat and you could argue this was the best one in the draft behind Bowers
@@connorhendrickson Notre Dame barely used him in the pass game so you really can't say he wasn't when he wasn't given the opportunity lol we rarely used Thomas or tremble in the pass game as well other than running them to the flats or a little hook over the middle occasionally. Who's to say this kid even sees the field? If this coaching staff indeed wants to utilize the TE in the pass game who's to say tremble doesn't flash? I'm not trying to be a downer I'm just being real instead of just buying the hype instantly

He doesnt mess up when open. Controlled runner and has a very keen eye for the ball. His concentration is off the charts, he looks like he's just in his own world.

That's a good thing. That's what you want. A very good RB and two speedsters at WR to spread the defense. That allows the TE to work free. That's complimentary football. The Panthers are trying to do the same with DJ, X and Brooks/Hubbard.
