How to Hack Your Strawberry Production!

Growing Strawberries is so rewarding and tasty.
Imagine a way to Hack Strawberry Production so that there’s no weeding, easy automated irrigation and 2 months longer growing than typical.
This video provides all the tips and tricks to make strawberry production easier and more efficient.
The steps of the video are divided into 3 buckets:
1. Prep the soil
2. Prep the planting template
3. Plant the strawberries
The basic things to remember while you’re doing this:
• Prepare the soil - keep it acidic, rich with nutrition, no lime!
Lay out drip irrigation - this will ensure all the plants’ roots will get water when needed
• Source a weed proof mat - this will be your ‘gold’ to bring it all together
• Make a planting grid template - use a 3 inch hole saw and a piece of plywood
• Layout the template so all the holes are at least 12 inches apart
• Using the template and a torch - prep your mat with your plant spacing holes
• Lay out your mat on top of the soil & irrigation lines and secure the edges
• Plant your strawberries & soak them
• Cover the row with a protective barrier so they are safe - HOOP HOUSE idea
NOTE: remember to pinch off the early flowers so that you encourage the plants to grow deep roots and become more productive for the long haul.
