Space Jam: maked with classic cartoon 2D-animation with love and smoothness (and a plenty of ad, lol). Space Jam 2: maked with soulless and tasteless 3D with pretentiousness and IP brending, shining like a Christmas tree with all of this neon whistleworks. One big vanity fair.
I don't care what anyone says, I like both versions of Space Jam. I grew up watching the first Space Jam as a kid and love it, 30 years later my kids & I went to watch the new one and also love it as well.

I was thinking about them having a tournament Monstars Goon Squad and tune squad (looney tunes) and any random teams including the fan made version with nicktoons (toon squad)cause usually a tournament can have 8 to 16 teams but 3 spots r taken
You know, I just realized something, it been 29 years and I never did find out the "official" names of all the Monstars. Since they weren't mentioned on screen.

The goon squad had great designs, but they lacked the fear factor the Monstars had just compare the intros. The goon squad is “look how cool we are” while the Monstars was “ you are so F…done”
They were bigger and stronger stealing other players talent but were competent in their reasoning to face off the Toon Squad. The Goon Squad however are a algorithm of actual players with lets say mutant powers that are unique in a way. A guy that can turn in water & fire, a woman with spider like abilities and cyborg man that can slow/speed up time. That I can buy into and is more of a challenge to the Toon Squad honestly.
@akilcharles3473 But their powers only worked and didn't work when the plot needed it with the Goon Squad. At least the Monstars got their name, the Goon Squad coming in with their name is so cringy, lol.

And Goon Squad announcing their names is no different to how the Toon Squad did when they enter the court in the first Space Jam genius and the way they presented it was just as same, it shows off who they are and their abilities.
