Replace as much liquids with solids, such as powder foundation, powder blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner, setting powder, etc. This eliminates half your makeup supplies. Your next items are toiletries…
I even found dry detergent sheets, paper fabric softener, and bleach tablets for laundry. I’m not traveling yet, but I’m slowly getting what I need to do so.
Im flying this month (yay!) And I'm just bringing under 100ml deodorant, mouthwash and some facial wash, moisturiser to freshen myself up before I land. I'm flying for 8 hours and I want to feel my best and look my best once I get off the plane to my destination!
I was considering not bringing any liquids with me in my carry on at all, but as long as I remember the 100ml rule and pack them all in a resealable plastic bag I will be good! Happy travels ✈
the honey was taken away not because it was liquid but because it was honey. US is strict in taking in agricultural products and that includes honey.
Yes liquids must be in bottles of 3.4 fl ounces (100 milliliters) or less and placed in a quart sized bag. but you can bring any size of liquids after you clear the security checkpoint. in checked bags there are no limits, but the total quantity for "toiletries "per person cannot exceed 70 ounces / 2 kilograms or 2 liters (68 fluid ounces) "each container must not exceed 0.5 kilograms (18 ounces) or 500 milliliters (17 fluid ounces)."
I carefully made sure all my liquids were under size. I made sure I was under the max total allowable and they were in One clear bag BUT at Ottawa Int’l and the made me put then in their own clear bag and I had to dump some things. Ugh. I even knew that solids counted as liquids. What really sucked, I had a checked bag but I couldn’t get it back to put my things in... I was traveling for 3.5 months.
Definitely check all airlines you are traveling on and each airport you have to stop at.
Oh, and security at Heathrow through out my empty plastic bottle 🤷🏻♀️ I was not impressed.

I still have to understand why I've never been "caught". I hear many stories like yours. I don't understand if it was just a coincidence that so far I've never used an airport (except London and Oslo) that required me a limit in q

I just bring solids bars unless it’s a mascara everything is in tabs or powder form all make up or toiletries. Less hassle 😊
Great video. But never ever drink or refill your bottle from the airplane. Don't even get tea or coffee. Yeah it's that bad.

You can purchase another 100ml travel container and then separate the product between the two
ok soooo I can bring my mini patron silver bottles (5 or 6 of them) in a quart size zip lock baggie?
So if I buy a 3.4 oz of a container and I fill it up to the top will they allow me to bring it

Transfer liquids to where ?
I always have problems to refill my water bottle at the airport of Edinburgh, since there's only hot water in the toilets :( I'll try the hostess tip next time!
When in the bathrooms there's only warm water there are 4 options for me:
1) ask the cleaning staff if there are water fountains, there usually are somewhere
2) go to any bar or restaurant in the airport and ask them to fill up the bottle with tap water
3) get water in the airplane - not the best
4) [saved the best for last] find handicapped a handicapped bathroom: they usually have a double handle sink where you can get cold water.

Just ask any of the cafe’s at the airport in U.K for hot water. I live in the U.K never been a problem.

Hi girl I have 200ml medical shampoo that a doctor told me to buy, I'm using it for years its great. will I be able to take it with me? I'm flying next month! same with a medical facial cleanser I have, 150ml a doctor told me to buy. would I be able to take it?
You'll be able to take it in the cabin only if you transfer both in max 100 ml containers.
Hello ma’m. Is it possible to ship Red mercury ? For example if i put it in a hand watch and ship it. So is it possible is shows itself in airport scan ?

No idea what "red" mercury is, but mercury is "dangerous air cargo" and that is an entirely different subject.

I’m travelling hand luggage only later this year for the first time, the one thing I’m worried about is I’ve heard things about the glycerin in shampoo and shower gel setting off the explosives tests if they get randomly selected for testing. I’m sure it will be fine but I can’t stop thinking about it.
In many years of travel I’ve literally never heard about this before. I would suggest that there are more interesting things to think about…😄

Please don’t listen to this advice I’d you fly regularly in and out of the UK. Uk airports are extremely strict with liquids.

William Bortz I don’t understand. Why did you have two bottles of more than 100 ml in your carry on bag? I guess you bought them at a duty free before a connecting flight (at least it’s the only option I can think of)
What a shame Mary Jane no I bought the waters and some snacks before going to the airport and then put them all in my carry on, forgetting that they have water restrictions...I like to generally bring my own food to the airport

Hey! what if i put my mascara on the bottom of my personal item bag and i won't take it out and won't put it with my liquids in the plastic bag?? will the x-ray see it ot what? because i can't fit my makeup in the plastic bag with liquids, i want to hide it in the bag, do you think they will see it?
As I said in the video, they almost never actually require you to put your liquids in the plastic bag. They have signs asking you to do so, but when you get there the guards don't really care. It doesn't matter if your liquid is on top or at the bottom of your bag, the scanner will see it. I'm 99% sure that nobody will have any problem with your mascara.

I'm just confused about liquids. So if i have liquids that are more than 100ml do i put that in my checked luggage or in a quart-size bag then remove it and put in my checked luggage ?
If you have containers of liquids that are more than 100 ml you have to put them in your checked luggage.

Good question. I don’t have a certain answer, but I suppose it would depend on the officer you find and maybe also on how liquidy the peanut butter is while passing the controls. It might work well.
I'm going to get on a plane the 12th of December! I want to take my jergens glow lotion but it's 295ml I was hoping to hide it in my suitcase but it has glycerin n I'm afraid I will for some reason get hunt down 😂😭for what I've heard about glycerin
Glycerin is a very common ingredient in most of cosmetic creams and lotions, I see no reason why it would be a problem to carry it in your checked in luggage.
Hello , as for changi singapore airport , i want to bring my fragrance with me on my cabin , should i put the the fragrance with the box on to the ziplock bag , or i don't have to use the box ?

@@powdmizu6379 have a look at perfume pods . You pull the nozzle off your existing perfume bottle off . Then pump the pod on to the nozzle underneath to get your perfume to decant into a tiny little spray pod . Usually plenty for a week away .

Good question! I'm not completely sure. I would say a stick is not liquid, nonetheless I've been recently asked to put it together with my liquids at the security checks.

Yep! Better use some other type of deodorant though, those compressed spray bottles are quite bad for the environment and they really don't bring any significant benefit.
