Thanks! I agree that a bit of research needs to be done before a game purchase, and DLC has made that a bit harder. That is why I always liked Nintendo for being resistant to it but now they have seen that people will complain about DLC but still pay for it. That is why I play so few games on the PS3 and the XBOX360, nothing but annoying DLC and game patches...well that is a different topic. So if you do not buy a game because of DLC you might be missing out on a fun game with DLC so that sucks.
i'll have to get used to Nintendo having DLC options now ;P does seem a bit overly complicated though, why not simply have the packs on the shop? why wait for a mail about it first?

i really do not like the idea of DLC, i know it is optional, but I feel this stuff could have been included with the game originally. I can not believe that people wanted Nintendo to do DLC. I wonder how this will be handled with other games like Metroid, The Legend of Zelda, and the 3D Super Mario game on the Wii U...I just can not help but feel worried that for example I will pay ($59.99) for a rushed, incomplete, boring game...and have the option to purchase the DLC for an incredible price.
I've played CoD, I'm not a guy to criticize things without knowing of what I'm talking about, I don't hate CoD, but I think of it like a bad game because it bores me after a while of playing, It's just killing people to make them rage (Multiplayer) and the Campaign is just too short and easy for me, I'm not saying that Mario is an extremely difficult game, but it's more fun than CoD because it is more challenging to completing it 100%, while in CoD, you can get prestige in a couple of hours.
