I'm still driving my 2009 Nissan Versa. It has 127,000 miles on it and still drives great. I will definitely be replacing it with another Versa because the car has been awesome!
My 2021 has 2250 miles, will drive another year and then get either Sentra or Altima. Love my Versa until we get any snow fall, needs little more power
i just got myself a 2020 nissan versa sv. i'm a toyota person but i def dropped the gun too fast at the lot and it’s what i ended up leaving the lot with, LOL but I am grateful. This car ended up being so perfect for me. All glory to god! i have videos of my car on my channel too, videos about the process of getting my car, decorating my car etc.
A in depth review about the important parts, thank you!!! Tired of the same short videos telling the same obvious things I can already see, I like knowing the options available and what trims have what. Great review!
I drive my 2020 5 speed versa from The Wooodlands to downtown Houston 5 days a week. I love this car, been paying the minimum payment for 1.3 years and only owe $9,300 on it with a $1,000 down payment. I also dive a 2006 megacab diesel on the fun days lol
@@dabaydestrian415mine was 18,000 after my down payment....that's not too much... it's best to do about $2,500 or $3,000 down payment to lower the price....I have an automatic so mine costed a little more 🙂
The manual Versa does 0 to 60 in 6 seconds versus CVT transmission in 9 secs. I found this out by taking 1st and 2nd gears to redline but shifting 3rd and 4th gears at 4300 rpm instead of over 6000 redline and then slam it into 5th gear which in this car is where it really comes alive and the real pulling power comes in. Try it and you'll see I'm right.
I still get asked for 80¢ in coins due at toll booth for when I’m not in my car which has a pikepass ! Thanks for reviewing this little beast, Gold Pony.
So...is the one of the few models left that do not use GDI? Awesome lil car, simple but not too boring. Had many Sentra's, an two other Versa's. Thank you
I enjoyed your review video. I drive a 2020 Sentra and I was curious about Versa because my fiancé is driving a 2006 minivan and it’s taking lots of gas 😂 thanks for load
Pretty nice looking subcompact, but I will never buy anything with a delicate push-belt design CVT transmission (of which Nissan has historically made the worst ones of an already poor design).
You buy the MT s trim. The fit, fiesta, mirage, accent have a-lot less room inside are are more uncomfortable. The yaris is alot more money. For the subcompact id go with nissan
@@EpicDrew15 that's bs, are u a car salesman? 2022 prices are way higher these days. I tried getting 1 base model was 18k after taxes and fees it'll be around 20k
the 21 versa sucks. When youre low on gas, the gas gauge literally shows “ - - “ so you dont know how much mileage you have left. When your backing up and youre trying to squeeze a few more inches in, the versa triggers a loud obnoxious brake system that sounds like I ran over a deer. The middle console has no room to store anything or for you to rest your arm on. The L shift is the LAST shift so you have to make sure youre not riding on L instead of D when youre shifting. There is no acceleration and it is unbelievabely slow, The trunk space is good. The Audio system sounds like a 1990 honda civic’s sound system when you turn it up even a tad bit. The gas kinda sucks too. I sat in a parking lot with the car on for like 10 minutes and it went from 224 miles to 205 miles(bogus). MY advice. Get a toyota camry. oh and the blue color for the versa is HIDEOUS.
Nowadays it's better to have an old vehicle with no warranty because a costly repair can take mostly a week to complete vs months at the dealer for warranty repairs. Loaners/rentals can be scarse and you'll pay out of pocket for one because you need one. If you have a new car prepare for a long wait unless you keep the older vehicle for spare. I shouldve kept my 2010 Cobalt while currently owning a 2018 Elantra.
True and the Yaris has a much better steering feel for sure!... But the Versa is a couple thousand less and gives you quite a bit for the price. Depends on what you're looking for I guess! :-)
I really wanna like the Versa, but I can not live with a cheap interior and if a car does not drive like a BMW or Nissan 300zx (1986-1996), I am not interested.

Good review & great Nissan.
You have to settle for the S model if you want a manual trans.
I am okay with that
$18000 - 19,000 now - dealers will not negotiate because of the car shortage - selling like hot cakes if you can find one
Does the Versa SR have reported transmission issues?
I'm wondering if the front and back seats are the exact same size as the canadian model (entry level) automatic
Push start is on all models
Push start or key throb is the way to go now
That Versa i know isn't $15k Not for the SV or SR.
Watch the video again. You apparently did not. He explains that for this video he isn't using the $15k model.

How is the reliability on the manual transmission compared to the base Hyundai accent manual?
